Maybe it was the sight of him in full-on MJ garb at the funeral that brought it on?

Feldman's wife files for divorce.

I guess it wasn't a dream come true, after all.

But he wore a shoe-cobbler outfit to their wedding! Which took place on a reality show!

I swear I thought those two would make it last forever.

When a couple who gets married on a reality television show can't make a go of it, what hope does an average girl like me have?

Chris Martin hooking up with Kate Bosworth? Assuming it's true Gwyneth should have dumped him on his ass when he cheated the first time.

Yeah, Kate Bosworth is basically Gwenneth 2.0.

I enjoy Lainey's righteous anger over the injustice of it all. I mean, I really don't care one way or the other? But when I think of poor victims who would never, ever deserve to be cheated on, I don't generally think of Gwyneth, who has a pretty well-known record of treating boyfriends like shit.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen ANYONE come to Gwyneth's defense that vigorously. Lainey really hates Chris and Kate, eh?

Edited to add: Although I can do without the shrill "you hate Gwyneth so much that..."

Don't tell me what I think, okay Lainey? Especially not to grab the moral high ground for yourself.

Also, if true, kinda disappointing because for some reason I find Chris Martin cute. I will, however, get over it.

Lainey doesn't hate Chris. She LOVES Gwyneth though. And she really hates Kate Bosworth.

I actually would be Team Gwyneth on this one. Although that's more driven by him not letting Glee use Coldplay's songs than in anything he's done in his personal life. I hold a grudge.

I'm Team Gwyneth, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the irony of it all, it kind of feels like when Noni was all insistent that she and Johnny were still TOTALLY together, even though he was seen making out with other women all over the place. Oooh I bet that burns Gwynnie. And for a girl who is just a younger and even dare I say less attractive version of herself? If she sticks with him through this, I will lose all semi-respect I had for her sense of dignity.

I remember reading an interview with Chris Martin not long after he and GP were married and he said something along the lines of how he couldn't believe that someone like her would be interested in a bloke like him, and how they went to a school reunion or something of his and he went up to people who had made fun of him back in the day and was all 'hey, meet my wife' in a kind of 'look at who I pulled!' kind of way.

So either he got over his awe of her when he decided to play around or the pressure of being married to an Oscar winner like her was just too much for him and he had no choice but to cheat!
(You can't tell but if I said that last sentence out loud, it would be dripping in sarcasm).

I'm being really cynical here, but I'm kind of wondering, given how open Chris Martin and Kate Bosworth were being about it, if it was staged as an excuse to end the marriage. There have been stories for about a year that it's just a matter of time. Gwyneth gets some sympathy after the PR disaster that is GOOP, Chris Martin becomes less boring and gets a shot of publicity.

I don't know if it would actually work like that, but I'm just wondering.

Yeah, there's definitely something fishy about it, if true -- Chris Martin and Kate Bosworth may be a lot of things, but I doubt either of them is stupid. So if you're going to make out in public at a U2 concert, you are aware you're going to get busted. And that's IF it actually was even a) Chris Martin, and b) Kate Bosworth.

That, or he and Gwynnie are long separated and it just hasn't hit the tabs yet.

He and Gwynnie refused to be photographed together, yet he's making out with someone else in public? Something's just not right about that - unless it's Gwyneth who made the photography rule.

Yeah I will be honest I can count the amount of pap pictures I've seen of Chris Martin on my hand. So I kinda feel like did it even happen?

If it is true, that's shitty of him. I'm not one of Gwyneth's defenders, but she and Chris are married. To make out with a shaking chihuahua in public is low class.
