First we get the most entertaining Vikes at Steelers (of course, being in Pittsburgh and all), then we get the Jets at Raiders and Bears at Bengals. It's like... football purgatory.

And both of those games were horrible blowouts. Jamarcus Russell, does he even want to play anymore?

I watched the Pats-Bucs game. It wasn't the bloodbath I thought it would be, but if i were an Uk NFL fan, I would probably want to see a more even sided game. Like the Saints-Dolphins game. That was amazing.

I am so confused that the DA didn't press charges in that case, when the other coaches in the room, all of whom who are being paid by the Raiders, lied about what happened. Though I guess if they knew that they would keep lying, they wouldn't be able to prosecute, but still.

I have been holding my breath all week about Ryan Clark's status for the Broncos game. Finally, FINALLY, they said today he won't be playing. Last time he played in Denver he lost his spleen and gallbladder due to a rare complication of sickle cell anemia that's caused by vigorous excercise at high altitude.

He's an unsung hero for the team. Plays opposite Polamalu so he gets a lot of balls thrown his way and he hits like a freakin' freight train. But as much as we need him, he needs to keep the organs he has left more.

Eagles at Cowboys this weekend! My poor, poor husband is consoling himself about the Phillies loss-- if the Iggles lose to the football equivalent of the Yankees (only, you know, sucky), he will cry real man tears.

Here we go, Steelers! Here we go!

Whatever offensive adjustments they made at halftime worked.

Re: AFC West: The Raiders are awful; the Chiefs stink on ice; the Broncos seemed determined to squander their three game lead and the Chargers gave the Broncos said three game lead...

Do any of these teams want to win their division?

All part of Josh McDaniels intricate plan! He has a system you know?

I thought it would be much closer than it was. MUCH closer, given that Denver was supposed to be the defensive darlings of the NFL and Big Snack was sucking down air after just three series.

I'm happy to be wrong. Totally happy.

Ducks/Beavs in a winner-take-all Civil War game on Dec. 3rd. I'm not that surprised UO is one win away from the Rose Bowl, but the Beavs? Mike Riley is one of the most underpaid coaches in college football.

I will say that, watching the game tonight on ABC, I was pretty appalled at the thinly veiled favoritism the announcers had for the Ducks. I'm sure the fact that the Civil War will be televised nationally on ESPN (i.e., ABC) had nothing whatsoever to do with it!

Les Miles is the worst coach in college football. Mark Richt is second.

Mike Riley's aunt plays bridge with my mom. He's had plenty of chances to go to where there is more money, and has declined them. It's a mystery.

This is the Alabama-Auburn game. People are getting antsy. Next week is the SEC championship game. Two weeks of nervous wreckness.

Damn. Just thinking about the end of that LSU-Ole Miss game. Poor game/clock management like that just makes me insane. LSU fans are livid, and they should be.

Thank god the days of giving up 3 game leads to the Chargers are over!

An Onside Kick? Really, Josh? Is that as bad a call as his mentor's 4th-and2?

In other news, which coach whose surname begins with Magin will be out on his ass sooner?

It may not have been bizarro day for the Browns, but it was for the NFC North team that beat them. So it still counts.

I love the glare.

It's because Omar Epps is upset that they guessed his secret identity. And he really lives round the corner from me. Hee.
