Oh, here's one: Moon Trills. And it doesn't even have any words! It's like the sound of a raw nerve.

You put a spell on me
Because you're mine!!!!
Muahahahaha!!!!!

Creepy! It's the laugh/scream that does it. And it was all sealed when they used it in the Levis ad with the mannequin following the guy home and lurking outside his window.

Ooo, I got one! Goldfrapp, Human. The instrumentals in that are so jarring and the song itself is pretty spooky.

I think pretty much everything by Goldfrapp = CREEPY. But beautifully creepy, if that makes any sense.

Can we also add anything by Portishead? Particularly "All Mine".

That reminds me, Strange and Beautiful by Aqualung is a lovely sounding song, but really is about a stalker:
QUOTE
I've been watching your world from afar
I've been trying to be where you are
And I've been secretly falling apart
Unseen
To me, you're strange and you're beautiful
You'd be so perfect with me
But you just can't see
You turn every head but you don't see me

I'll put a spell on you
You'll fall asleep
When I put a spell on you
And when I wake you I'll be the first thing you see
And you'll realize that you love me

Soooo creepy.

I just thought of another one. Warren Zevon is kind of famous for singing really morbid lyrics over a peppy tune. Nowhere is that more obvious than the last verse of "Excitable Boy":
He took little Suzie to the Junior Prom
Excitable boy, they all said
And he raped her and killed her, then he took her home
Excitable boy, they all said
Well, he's just an excitable boy
After ten long years they let him out of the home
Excitable boy, they all said
And he dug up her grave and built a cage with her bones
Excitable boy, they all said
Well, he's just an excitable boy

Heh, that reminds me of Nick Cave and "The Wild Rose." It also reminds me of Lou Reed's song "Hooky Wooky":

QUOTE
Your ex-lover Satchel is here from France
yet another ex
They gather about you like a Mother Superior
all of you still friends, but -
None of my old flames ever talk to me when things
end for me they end
They take your pants, your money, your name
but the song still remains

An-an-and, I wanna HookyWooky with you
Ah-ha-ha-ha, I wanna HookyWooky with you

Then they take your pants, your money, your name
but the song still remains, sayin' -
I wanna HookyWooky with you

You're so civilized it hurts
I guess I could learn a lot, ha-ha...
About people, plants and relationships
how not to get hurt a lot
And each lover I meet up your roof
I wouldn't want to throw him off, mmmmm..
Into the chemical sky, down into the streets to die
under the wheels of a car on Canal Street
And each lover I meet up on your roof
I wouldn't want to throw him off, mmmmm..
Into the chemical sky
under the wheels of a car to die on Canal street

Paint it Black by the Rolling Stones wigs me out so much, and I don't even know why.

They actually did a video to this song. If the song by itself creeps you out, you definitely don't want to see the visual side of it.

Like how Gimmie Shelter is kinda apocalyptic, Paint it Black makes me think of someone going on a shooting spree. Eeek.

Mother Stands For Comfort by Kate Bush. Just a quiet little song about how a serial killer's mother will always cover for him.

Speaking of the goddess Kate, The Kick Inside is a cheery little ditty about a girl about to kill herself because she's having her brother's baby. It has this dreamy quality that is particularly disturbing. The chorus:

QUOTE
This kicking here inside makes me leave you behind
No more under the quilt to keep you warm
Your sister I was born
You must lose me like an arrow
Shot into the killer storm

The Flash Gordon song by Queen scared the fuck out of me as a child. I don't know why.
