I'm 31 years old, I live in Chicago, I have an awesome husband, a terrific two-year-old son, and we're expecting another arrival next June. I work in social services, which I love, except for the part where I'm poor as a result. I watch too much TV. And I spent way too much time at the old board, and plan to spend too much time here as well.

*big wave* Hiya, I'm QueenSix. I'm 33 and in Galway in Ireland where we know it's winter because it's now cold when it rains. I have an eleven year old border collie who likes to watch TV when she's not losing her head over noises she either hears or think she hears. I'm not working at the moment because of bad health, but this gives me more time to read and post on the boards, read and watch TV so there's a bright side to it all. I do hope to be well enough to go back at some point in the New Year though. I just have to be patient.

I'm Miss M, and I'm a little peeved that the Toad God is currently C-list while I'm stuck at D-list. I'm 28 (very soon to be 29, eek!), I'm getting married one month from tomorrow, and I work in marketing for a place I affectionately call House of Crazy. I live in Boston and love the Red Sox to an unhealthy degree. I also have an epic love/hate relationship with Gwen Stefani, and I must now go elaborate on this in her thread.

I'm 18, currently wasting my parents money at a liberal arts school in Minnesota, although I orginally hail from Chicago. I work as a Girl Scout camp counselor all summer, although I haven't done any real girl scouting since I was a Brownie. I love both the middle of the woods and the big city, and when I grow up, I will be inventing a teleportation device that allows you to go from one to the other instantly. It will run on fuel from killing ticks and mosquitos.

I also plan on maiming the next person who wants to know my major. I'm a first-year! (Looking at my current study habits, I'm majoring in Internet Studies.)

I'm 21, hail from London and am dedicating my life to finding a way to get paid to mooch around the world with a backpack gawking at all the cool stuff there is and scuba diving in hot places. In between times, I am in my third year of a degree in geology, attempting to switch to political sciences, largely because this will result in me getting eight months off during which I can work and then bugger off to India. My tutors and parents must never ever know that this is my principle motivation behind this decision. That and I'm sick of bloody rocks.

I'm 21 and currently freaking out because I'm only a semester away from graduating with a degree in journalism. I've lived in Arizona all my life and am currently freezing since a) we can't figure out how to get the heat turned on in my house and b) the high today was in the upper 50s. I also read as much literature as I can (which isn't a whole lot since my energy isn't the best) and am interested in the media and environmental issues.
