Hi everyone. I'm another longtime lurker and I live in Tennessee. I go by Mameha, Hatsumomo or some other name from Memoirs of a Geisha on every board I sign up for because a) it's my favorite book and b) I am thoroughly unoriginal. I'm also currently counting down the days to the big 3-0. I know they say that the mind is the first thing to go, but I'm beginning to think the ass's fight against gravity is running a very close second.

I'm glad that Snarkfest is up and running again. Great job on getting it back so quickly.

Oh, I visited SF during evidence this past semester. Worst. Class. Ever. Seriously. An hour and a half of evidence twice a week, plus another hour on Mondays? Craziness. That final scared me.

Hi, I'm talkingmuffin. I used to be appledumpling on Snarkfest 2.0, where I mostly lurked (but somehow made it to B-List eventually, go figure.)

I'm 25 and a native Northern Californian, where I still currently reside. I work at a small biotech company, and I spend way too much time hanging out on Snarkfest/surfing the web when I should be updating my experiment notes/reading journal articles. In my free time I watch too much TV, spend too much money eating out, and basically get distracted by anything that puts off grad school for a little while longer.

Libelle, I envy you this time of year! When I lived in Germany 20 years ago, I used to get the best lebkuchen from Nuremberg. God, I love that stuff. I still have some of the pretty tins it came it.

2Ls Unite! I'm 25 and at law school in Philly, and I am not taking my finals nearly as seriously as I ought to. Which is why I'm spending all day here.

I've been around since MightyBig and FT but I tend to post in spurts - generally when I have an exam or paper. You'll likely see a lot of me over the next month or so as I have to write my comment.

I love GoFugYourself, Science Fiction and Fantasy, Harry Potter, YA books, Romance novels, Jossverse, X-files, Fanfic, Yankees baseball, knitting, cooking, anaylzing books and movies to the point where the text screams "this is just a piece of fiction - lay off!!!" Oh, and musical theater and non-musical theater and Oscar Wilde and Jane Austen and English History and Greek Myth and pretty people.

Hi. I'm charlotte. I just turned 27, but look like I'm twelve. I have a Master's degree in speech therapy, and work at some elementary schools in Ohio. Secretly, though, I want to be a professional band-namer. I posted a bit at That Other Place waaaaaaay back in the day, but sometimes it skeered me. Heh. I do post regulary over at ThreeWayAction though. I like sarcasm, Jason Mraz, the dictionary, and Pudding Pops. I am a sad panda because I couldn't find a team of two other people to go with me to the World Series of Pop Culture auditions.

I chose a different moniker over here than the one I always, always, always use just to freak people out so they'd think, "Wow, that sounds just like so-and-so..." without realizing it's me. It's been a long time since I've been part of a large message board, too, so I figured a change might be nice with the ol' screenname.

I'm 27, a Ph.D. student, single mother of a seven-year-old, love TV and reading, and chose my moniker because I joined when I had a crapload of work to do and, uh, didn't feel like doing it.

I'm Caramel Coffee. I used to lurk at Hissyfit and MightyBigTv/TWoP (went through a brief period of posting there about 20 times a day during my A levels). I lurked heavily at FT but I found it a little scary over there. I was just Coffee at all three.

Found Snarkfest 2.0, whilst going through a celebrity gossip withdrawal. I may actually post a bit, since I'm in my final year at Uni and have a dissertation to do. I live in London, can't drive and I'm currently attempting a joint English/Film degree. Oh and I turn 22 on Tuesday woo!

Hello, everyone! I too am here because of peer pressure on LiveJournal... A little head nod and a 'sup to everyone I recognize.

I'm neither a librarian nor a law student, but I do have a totally useless but really fun music diploma in recording arts. Which clearly is why I work admin in a big engineering firm. I just started doing that this week, and it'll be really boring until the new year, so I'm lurking in the neighbourhood. Maybe I'll start posting more frequently soon-ish.

The other stuff you might want to know is that I turn 22 on Sunday; I'm a girl, a dog-person, and the youngest in my family; and I have three super-cool nephews and one extra-super-cool niece. I don't like loud-breathers.
