Hi, 30, aspiring film critic (is it strange to aspire to a job type that is slowly dying out across the country?) and father of two beautiful girls. I spend way more time thinking about entertainment and media than is probably healthy, instead of simply enjoying it and moving on. Most of this ends up in some form or another in my LiveJournal (link in profile - though I warn you, the last week is not a good sample of how it normally goes, as the "emo" quotient was fairly high - for totally legitimate reasons, I swear!), and I'm so glad to find this site because the scope of Television Without Pity is entirely too limiting for someone who only watches 4 shows regularly, but devours movies constantly.

I'm slmader, 38 years old, of the female persuasion, and I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. I work for a major life insurance company. I've got a hubby, an almost 7 year old son, and a cat named Oliver who plays fetch, likes to drink out of the tap and has no penis. I spend a lot of time here either because I don't have enough work to do or because I have work to do and don't feel like doing it.

We've both actually from there - he's just convinced that after 7 years away we won't be able to tolerate the cold anymore. Plus no surfing.
