I'm 21 and currently freaking out because I'm only a semester away from graduating with a degree in journalism. I've lived in Arizona all my life and am currently freezing since a) we can't figure out how to get the heat turned on in my house and b) the high today was in the upper 50s. I wore a scarf for the first time in almost two years.

I'm 24 and I work at a law firm. My job is either incredibly busy or incredibly slow (we're at a slow point now) so I spend my day obsessively refreshing this message board and the PopCandy blog. I'm contemplating going back to school for my master's but I don't know for what.

I have a compulsion of buying books and TV shows on DVD. I live with my parents right now, and we have two TiVos in our house so I officially watch way too much TV. That's about it.

I'm 18, I go to college outside of Philadelphia but my hometown is Washington, D.C., no clue what I'm going to major in so please don't ask. I run track, haven't decided which event yet. I love reading everything from chick-lit trash to Don Quixote. I love movies as well, and TV, though I haven't been watching a whole lot of either since being at college.

Hi, everyone, I'm salamandersam, 32, living in the South, for now. Unfortunately, I can't spend much time on SF at work, so I wile away the work hours looking at Fandom Wank while completing work. Multi-tasking, yo, and I don't feel as guilty that way. I'm single, and am considering starting a club based around that.

I'm 28 and on an extended break from my postgraduate studies due to a long-term illness and am obsessed with history. I also read as much literature as I can (which isn't a whole lot since my energy isn't the best) and am interested in the media and environmental issues. I have a cat called Sióg who likes my Mac as much as I do, and I don't watch that much TV or go to many films so I usually hang around in the SF Community area.

I live with a huge fat spoiled DamnCat who likes to eat my many houseplants and destroy my knitting. I'm almost ashamed to admit it this year, but I was born & bred a Steelers fan.

I'm usually more of a lurker. Reading SF is one of my favorite ways to pass time at work when it's quiet enough to be boring but too busy for me to get other things done.
