"Tracy" by the Cufflinks. I can't help it, it's so bouncy and fun and I love the "bah bah bupbah bupbah" parts.

Now I have "Tracy" in my head (I don't mind; it is sort of charming). Before that I was listening to "This Heart is a Stone" by the Acid House Kings. I have an all-Scandinavian radio show debuting this Thursday so Norway, Sweden, and Iceland have been dominating my CD and MP3 players (I don't know as many Denmark and Finland bands and need to find more).

One of my coworkers insisted that Steven Seagal is actually a talented singer/songwriter. So he pointed more toward a YouTube video.

I'll be the one in the corner, curled up in the fetal position.

All the songs from Foxboro Hot Tubs' (a side project from the members of Green Day) upcoming release are really fun and catchy.

Also, Gavin DeGraw's "In Love With a Girl" is pretty good.

The new Dirty Pretty Things single, "Tired of England," which was just played on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show. The single comes out in a few weeks. I love it. It's a perfect summer song. Such a relief after I was meh on "Hippy's Son," the first song from Romance at Short Notice that they put up for a free download.

I've also been listening to Santogold's "Lights Out" a lot recently.

Mount Eerie Part 6, since I won't have access to a record player over the summer and playing Phil Elverum records on anything other than a really good vinyl setup is a sin. Before that, I was listening to my just-arrived-in-the-mail Shearwater Rooks/The Rainbow 7" which sounded equally amazing.

Right now, it's Santogold's "I'm A Lady." That whole album is one of the best things I've heard in a long time. I think it's going to be my summer soundtrack. (I predict I'll still be listening to it after this summer, too.)

Everything off Beirut's The Flying Club Cup album. It's basically perfect.

Bauhaus, "Adrenalin." This will have to go on the 2008 racewalk training playlist.

"Take A Message" by Remy Shand. I found the cd in my stepmom's collection and had totally forgotten about him. It's just a good groove. Now I really want to know what happened to him. Any 'peggers know the score?

I've had "Black & Gold" by Sam Sparro on repeat. Great beat.

"Viva La Vida" by Coldplay. I think I might be slightly obsessed with this song.

Chopin's Grande Valse Brillante- it's my "it's before 9am and I have to do stats" music.

God, I know, and while I like Coldplay okay, Chris Martin bugs so I kind of hate how much I love it, and how easily the iTunes commercial brainwashed me into buying it. They've been playing it incessantly during the Stanley Cup Finals and as such it's become my Go Wings anthem.
