I am so in love with this ridiculously-named Japanese band called Bump of Chicken (see?!), it borders on not even funny. But it
is, because: BUMP OF CHICKEN.
Anyway, their music is gorgeous, and despite my not being able to say much more than "thank you" and "sorry" in Japanese, there's something about them that just reaches out and grabs hold of me. Which sounds sooo smurfy, *shame.* The first song of theirs I ever heard (and which I am listening to obsessively again, lately) is "Hybrid Rainbow," which is actually a cover of another J-rock group, The Pillows. There's no actual video for it, but you can listen to it
here. (And enjoy photos of the band being adorkable. Aww.)
