Over two. It came out sometime in 2005.

If it's any consolation someone pointed out to me the other day that Weezer's blue album came out nearly fourteen years ago and I almost got sick. I still remember how excited I would get when the Sweater Song would come on the radio and how much I laughed when I first say the Buddy Holly video.

That is still one of the baddest videos around! I absolutely loved it as a kid and thought Rivers was super cute in it with his dorky cardigan and floppier hair.

You know, if y'all are feeling old about I Turn My Camera On, maybe try Spoon's very very awesome The Underdog, which only came out last year. And it's only January right now!

Of course, the nice thing about Really Good Songs is they don't get old.

True, dat.

A friend of mine got me into Basia Bulat and I have to say, I'm already hooked. She has such a pretty voice.

Leona Lewis' Bleeding Heart is being played on the radio every five seconds and I love it.

Ingrid Michaelson's The Way I Am is absolute crack! I can't stop listening to it. I've also had Kate Nash's Foundations on rotation though I prefer the former to it.

Traveling Soldier by Dixie Chicks. I keep coming back to this song over and over again. It likes to just randomly pop into my mind and then stay there for months. It's a beautiful song.

I Should've Been After You by Rooney is so much fun to bop along to.

The video is also awesome.

I still haven't given the new Rooney album a listen. I'm a very bad fan!

I still listen to Spoon's "I Turn My Camera On" regularly. I love pretty much everything by Spoon, but that's my very favorite song of theirs, and it's got such a unique sound that it never gets old.

I've been listening to Led Zeppelin lately, namely "Immigrant Song" (I always think of Jack Black singing along in the van in School of Rock while listening to this song) and "Black Dog." Very cool stuff.

I'm listening to Hall and Oates' Grea-*test*-('") Hits. Dude, they're so much awesomer than I previously thought. I used to roll my eyes when my sister would say they were cool, but now, I see the light. Hall and Oates? Are. The. Shit.

Sara Smile is one of my all-time favorite songs. That's some great music.

whatthedeuce- 01-21-2008
Private Eyes is total stupidcrack!

I was at a club on Saturday and got really excited when I Can't Go For That started to play. Then I got pissed that it was only on for 45 seconds. Family Man is also made of irresistible cheese that can't be denied.

That's how I feel about Stay Don't Go. Spoon is so awesome, they manage to make beatboxing in this millenium sound cool.
