I've been feeling musically romantic lately.

It's a cold, grey day and I've been feeling rather down, so it's the hauntingly pretty "Lost Art of Murder" by Babyshambles for me right now. There's a lovely version by Peter on Jonathan Ross up on YouTube.

You Don't Know How it Feels by Tom Petty. It's weird to listen to that song without peering through a haze of smoke while swallowing a bong.

I'm really feeling Sara Bareilles Love Song. In fact her whole album is quite good. Really, really good.

Nowhere With You, because Joel Plaskett apparently owns my soul now. I'm alternating it with Cover It Up by Andrew Vincent and the Pirates, which is just a cute song.

I finally got ahold of the Hot Chip remix of Rilo Kiley's Breakin' Up. Eight minutes of awesomeness, though it's kind of a letdown in that there's no big crescendo. Who cares? I love it.

Speaking of RK-- I have been playing Jenny Lewis & Jonathan Rice's The End Of The Affair nonstop for the past month. It makes me all smiley, for some reason.

You can call me Al by Paul Simon. It makes me happy. It always has. And I also want to dance when I hear it. Now who wants to be my bodyguard?

I know, right? I discovered her earlier this year and her CD has not left my stereo. She really is awesome!

Best Buy is selling Sara Bareilles' CD for $7.99 this week. Ingrid Michaelson's CD is also on sale for the same price. I'm going to pick them up sometime this week.

I love Alicia Key's "No One" for being big and deep-throated and for telling me everything is going to be all right.

I can't stop listening to that album. Sara Bareilles is so excellent.

I'm so glad that iTunes had "Love Song" as a free download a couple of months back. I loved it and bought the album. And I've given her CD to a couple of people as gifts. It really is a great album.

I'm on a Muse kick at the moment. Sometimes you just need a little Muse.
