I've been listening to Regina Spektor like crazy lately, especially "Fidelity." So bouncy and choppy and fun - even though the chorus is about her heart getting broken.

Right now, I'm alternating between As Tall As Lions' "Ghosts of York" and The Decemberists' "Yankee Bayonette". I love Colin Meloy's voice and his unusual vocal delivery - the way he pronounces certain words always interests me. Plus he uses words and phrases like "palanquin" and "infanta" and "penitent whaler" - the last one sounds like he's talking about Ron Francis. Hehe- hockey humor.

"Wildcat" by Ratatat. I love it because it's so literal: They sample the sound of a snarling cat over the break.

Alice In Chains - Right Turn. This features the vocals of Chris Cornell and Mark Arm [from Mudhoney] and they [including Staley and Cantrell] sound great together. I wish it was a bit longer, though.

"Next to You", Tim Easton. It was used in this episode of Bones and it just went so well with the scene that I had to find out who was singing.

I'm listening to Danko Jones' Wait a Minute and having a party for one, which is distracting me from the fact that my tv is broken.

Joshua Radin is pretty awesome.

Cupcake by Nellie Mckay. So damn catchy.

"Kiss Me" by Sixpence None the Richer. I refuse to apologize for this one. Refuse! Awesome song.
