Fiance and I just watched The Big Lebowski, so I've been listening to I Just Dropped in (To See What Condition My Condition is in) by Kenny Rogers and The New Edition on repeat all night. Love!
I just realized I will never not get Kenny Rogers and Kenny Loggins confused.
Aerodynamic, by Daft Punk. Because they used this song in L'Auberge Espagnole, which I loved.
That's a great song. Excellent for power walking, I might add (as is a lot of Daft Punk's music).
I just bought Mandy Patinkin Sings Sondheim on iTunes, and am listening to him singing Send in the Clowns.

| Live version of This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody) from Stop Making Sense. I love the intro on the live version. |
That's my favorite track on that CD. It's a little wistful, but the whole song is just so sweet.
I've been listening to the new Tiger Army album, "Music from Regions Beyond," lately. There are a bunch of people complaining on Amazon about how it sounds more mainstream and clearly the band has sold out. Except that it sounds just like the same style as the two prior TA releases, right down to the track that sounds more like an 80s synth pop song by another band. Sure "As the Cold Rain Falls" sounds like a New Order song. I didn't hear anyone complaining that "Rose of the Devil's Garden" sounds like a Go-Gos song. Judging by the number of "Rose of the Devil's Garden" tattoos I've seen, no one really has a problem with that. Personally, I think it's a very strong album, and is sure to win them some new fans, particularly since they're on the Warped Tour this summer. Maybe that's what the old fans have a problem with. If too many people start getting into TA, they're going to have to find something even more obscure and all the ink will be for naught.

Wait, new Tiger Army?! Why was I not aware of this!
Right now I'm listening to The Microphones - The Glow from It was hot, we stayed in the water because, well, it's really hot here, and I wish I was in the water.
Please send help. Can't stop listening to "I Can't Decide" by Scissor Sisters.
(OMG WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME BEFORE HOW AWESOME THIS BAND IS.)
I have "No Cars Go" by Arcade Fired on repeat. The "...let's go!" and "don't know what we're going" parts make me tear up at really inappropriate times.
"Reliable Jake" from Evil Dead: the Musical A Meatloaf-type song.
Fidelity by Regina Spektor. God, that song is addictive.
Brainchild, The Scissor Sisters are made of win. I love putting "Kiss You Off" on and rocking out in the car.
Probably a song no one knows and maybe I am just trying to recapture my youth after my la-*test*-('") birthday, but I can't stop listening to Duran Duran's The Seventh Stranger. Maybe because I am feeling a little blue and that song just haunts me after I hear it.
A few things on repeat these days: "The Ride" and "I Defy" by Joan as Police Woman and "You are Mine" by Mute Math. I'm also obsessed with "Starlight" by Muse.

Awesome tune.
I've got "Hang On, Little Tomato" by Pink Martini on repeat. I really, really love this song and need to get the album.
And I have "Sympathique" by Pink Martini on constant repeat! I don't know anything else of theirs, though that one sounds intriguing.
