"The Mixed Tape," Jack's Mannequin. Completely addicted.
New Nine Inch Nails album! And I want him to go on tour like, right now, even though he just finished the "With Teeth" tour.
The 1990s- You're Supposed To Be My Friend. It probably belongs in the Stupidcrackmusic thread. So much fun!
Avenue Q. Over and over again. I'm pretty certain my entire 5000 word paper (paraphrased title: Ethnic conflict: huh?) can be summarised into Everyone's a Little Bit Racist.
"Stolen" by Dashboard Confessional. I think I might be slightly obsessed with this song. *facepalm*
Any of you on my Livejournal friends list already know what I'm listening to, but in order to further spread the love:
Going To A Town by Rufus Wainwright. Brilliant, kind of heartbreaking song from his newest album. Which is out on May 15th, I think.
All Good Things (Come to an End) by Nelly Furtado. It's my new cracktastic song. I'm listening to it a lot for a song I only downloaded so I could fill space on my new CD.
I'm loving Sophie Ellis Bextor's newest song
Me and My Imagination. I have her first two CDs and I hope I can get my hands on her third when it comes out, but I am not sure if it will be available at all in Canada, and I am without the credit card for the internets shopping. Woe is me!
Are You Alright?, by Lucinda Williams. I heard this song on a TV show (maybe House?), and I was still singing it to myself a week, which I took as a sign that I should track it down, and I did, and it's gorgeous. Whole album is good stuff, in fact.
White Stripes- Icky Thump. I'm enjoying it. "Why don't you kick yourself out? You're an immigrant too."
Joanna from Sweeney Todd. Yes, I am totally gearing up for the movie; I wanna be one of those annoying people who knows all the words going in.
I'm definitely listening to Push Push (Lady Lightning) by my newest favorite Polyphonic-Spree-meets-80s-metal band, Bang Camaro (who, really, isn't my NEWEST favorite, as I've loved them for, like, MONTHS). I'm pissed that I don't live in Boston, and therefore never get to see them live. Boo!
I can't get enough of Feist's "I Feel it All" from her new album.
This thread is awesome. I've found so many new artists and songs.
I''ve been listening to Feist's Let It Die for the past few days. My sister told me that Andre 3000 lurves that song, too, which makes it that much more awesome! Right now though, I'm hooked on The Plain White T's' Hey There Delilah, which I just heard for the first time yesterday. It is such a swoonworthy song!
Michael Buble's cover of Feelin' Good. Please dont hit me, but I really like it. I just really like this cd of his, and hey Emily Blunt sings on Me and Mrs. Jones! Its like four words, repeated, but she has a really nice voice.
