I've made a mix of songs from Grey's Anatomy, so it's on Love Show by Skye now.

Won't Be Home - Old 97s

Love it!

Freakin' Shipping Up to Boston by The Dropkick Murphys won't leave my brain alone so I'm giving it a few listens.

Weird Al- Jerry Springer. I never ripped Running With Scissors before for some reason, and I finally found the CD case it was hidden in and now it is on my laptop and will soon be on my iPod and we will never, ever be seperated again! (I missed this particular CD, ok?) Also, last week's Veronica Mars made me think of it.

It's been three days since that awful feud between the KKK and that gay Jewish Black dude...

Here It Goes Again - OK Go, the UK Surf version. Love love love!

Madeleine Peyroux's cover of Leonard Cohen's "Dance Me to the End of Love." Her voice, the piano, the lyrics ... so very beautfiul. This is the first of hers (or his) that I've heard. Does anyone have any recommendations for further listening to either of them?

I love Madeleine Peyroux's Don't Wait Too Long, even though it was used to near death in commercials a few years back. The whole Dreamland CD is pretty excellent - a nice version of La Vie en Rose, Always a Use, (Getting Some) Fun out of Life.

I currently have Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison on my player. Right now, the song playing is "25 Minutes to go".

Tool, "The Pot." It's fantastic for Friday afternoon rage. (Followed by "Vicarious," of course.)

You've Been Loved by Joseph Arthur. Perfect for a relaxing Sunday afternoon lying on my bed reading SF.

I'm embracing the truthiness that is Stephen Colbert singing "This Land Is Your Land."

"Sometimes It Snows In April" by Prince

The recent outbreak of Prince love on my friends list has filled me with the urge to relisten to all my Prince albums. I've already worked my way through The Gold Experience, and am now nearly done with Parade. I think I might settle for The Hits before I head to bed, mainly because I am filled with an urge to listen to "Gett Off" over and over again.

Snow Patrol's cover of Beyonce's Crazy In Love. Very funky.

Thanks to NySoul, I am listening to Fiona Apple's cover of Elvis Costello's "I Want You" almost constantly. It's fantastic!

"Jesus Christ"--Brand New. God, what a great song. It's perfect for evenings like tonight, where I'm deliciously exhausted and thinking about bed.
