Didn't see enough of last Sunday's episode to comment properly on it yet but it's on tape. The promo for next week looks interesting. <<<
Susie's back!>>>
There's a bit of spoilery blurb about it
here, which contains the following interesting question: <<<
Bonus Torchwood scandal: Has Captain Jack been having it off with Ianto?>>>
If the answer to that question is not "yes, repeatedly" I shall be most displeased.
Someone had to start the thread. Favourite episode so far has been the >>killer fairies though I did like Gay Toshiko - not the most original of plots but listening to the other's thoughts was hilarious and a bit sad (hands up who else wondered if they'd get a better response listening to their own colleagues' thoughts about them). But boo, hiss we didn't get to find out what Jack thinks about Ianto since they are OMGOTP!!!<<
Anyone know if Season Two has been commissioned yet?

"Any idea when we can expect to hear whether or not torchwood has been recomissioned for a second series? Taking ratings etc.. into account whats the chance in your opinion of us getting one ?" Neil: It won't be too long before the announcement comes through, and it's pretty much a cert. Put it this way - from what I'm told, the team is already working on the assumption that they have a second series. |
I hope they announce it soon because I'm not sure I want to live in a world where Robin Hood gets re-commissioned and Torchwood doesn't. I'm just sayin'.
Question about tonight's episode >>Were Jack and Ianto flirting at the end, or am I now just used to seeing the world through slash coloured glasses?<<
epudom, I think it's fair to say they were flirting with bells on.
GRR! <<<Stupid lucky Ianto! I wish Captain Jack would flirt with me like that. *pouts*>>>
Glad to have it confirmed - I'm writing an essay and am going slowly mad, so wanted to be sure it wasn't just wishful thinking.
If there were any doubts about
whether Jack and Ianto were flirting, this IM conversation on the Torchwood site does its best to put them to rest.I would like to renew my plea to the Sci Fi Channel to pick this show up. I am thisclose to resorting to questionable means to watch this show. Don't make me go there.
I've really liked the last two episodes - much more than the early ones. As QueenSix says, what sort of a world do we live in when Robin Hood is renewed and they're still dithering about Torchwood.
It's interesting that in the Christmas Invasion, even Harriet Jones PM wasn't meant to know about Torchwood, while now it turns out that the Cardiff police are rather better informed (even if they didn't let Gwen in on the goss)

Or

OMG it's like RTD read my list to Santa! Though I fear there will be some >>>annoying 'taken over by aliens' explanation <<<

Thank you RTD, if ever you need a womb for your babies I will oblige.
My head seems to have fallen off; is that bad?
Mmmmmmm.
I enjoyed the most recent episode, particularly becasue I love me some Indira Varma. I want her to be on my tv all the time, though I am apparently the only one, given the fate of 3lbs. (Oh, you wanted to be House so badly, show! Should've focused on the hot British lady doctor instead, I say.)
