Just watched 5 and 6. Eh to 5 and jesus fucking christ! to 6.

Although I did like NerdOwen's declaration.

I liked NerdOwen, but I think I like getting a little nicer, flirting with/trying to impress Martha, being a little sweet to Tosh,>>OMG GETTING SHOT NOT OKAY!<< Owen better.

And, can Martha stay forever? As expected, she did inject some extra Awesome into the team.

The end of episode 6 was seriously OMG for me. I had no idea I cared that much about >>Owen<<!

Loved Martha in DW, loved her in this. She really is just awesome.

I like this series so much better than series 1. The writing is snappier, there is more humor and less "let's take this very seriously". Ianto is way more interesting this series, Owen less of a jerk and Jack actually makes jokes. I feel the only one they don't really know what to do with is Toshiko. Come on. stop making her hit on Owen. There are cute guys or girls in the world outside of Torchwood. I really don't see why Gwen is the only one "allowed" to have a life outside of work.

I generally liked Martha in DW, unless she was in "mooning over the Doctor" mode during which times I wanted to slap some sense into her. Here? She was 100% made of awesome. (Case in point: Her little conversation w/ Ianto, during which they were both awesome.)

Speaking of which: My girlfriend and I found ourselves asking, not for the first time in S2, "When the hell did Ianto go from being the dead weight to being the most enjoyable character on the show (aside from Jack)?"

To be fair, Toshiko's "true memory" in "Adam" showed that she was always socially pathetic... being in Torchwood is not what's stunting her.

A bunch of Spoilers for the remainder of the Torchwood season, especially for the finale, have been posted over at TWOP. They begin here but only start to become coherent and reliable around here.

This week's episode (the one about the travelling shows) is really going to mess up the hunt for lost 1960s Doctor Who episodes since the clear message was 'Old film is bad and evil - if you find any, destroy it at once'.

The chief villain is supposedly the >>guy who is Davros in Who Season 4.

God, I hope so, that's just the sort of injection of crack this show needs again!

The whole thing is great, but it's at "OM NOM NOM NOM NOM" that it becomes brilliance.

That Ianto speaks reasonably fluent LOLcat is my favorite part.

So, in this weeks BBC3 episode Gwen walks in on Jack and Ianto having sex in the office, proving once and for all that Torchwood is written, at least in part, by 16 year old fangirls. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

RTD's gay agenda has gone too far this time!! I was shocked and appalled to see such goings on during Holy Week!! I fully intend to boycott this series - after the final episode has aired.

Those poor people being snatched by the rift ending up lord knows where. And poor Jonah. I sniffled during the scenes with him and his mum.
