ABBA. Britney. XTina. That goddamn new Fergie song.

Music you can't stop listening to.

I'm obsessed with "Irreplaceable" by Beyonce. "To the left / to the left ..."

It's completely cracktastic.

I can't stop listening to "Move Along" by The All-American Rejects. It's so catchy, and I love picking out that fun extra guitar noise during the second verse.

AAR are like the kings of stupidcrackpop-punk. "Dirty Little Secret" is even more addictive than "Move Along."

I KNOW, right? It makes me want to rip my hair out because I can't stand Bouncy and yet she manages to churn out the most cracktastic shit evah!

Y'all, I'm seriously contemplating getting Beyonce's CD. I have loved all of the singles she's released so far. "Deja Vu", "Ring The Alarm", and "Irreplaceable"...all cracktastic.

Fergie's recent single (aptly titled "Fergalicious") is a definite example of current crack music, along with the Pussycat Dolls' "Wait A Minute". Both of those songs make me want to get up and dance around the room all day.

My current crack song is "Dangerous" by the Ying Yang Twins. It's an interesting mix of Wyclef Jean's vocalizations, samplings of both "Maneater" by Hall and Oates (the chorus part) and "Black Betty" by Ram Jam (the latter occurring in the last couple of seconds of the song), and a wicked bass loop to match.

Plus the YouTube video I linked above for the song? Definitely fits the mood of the song.

That goddamn Bond song sang by Chris Cornell.

I hated it at first. Hated it! But now I can't enough of it.

For me it's that goddamn Ring the Alarm. I find myself screaming along (because she's really not singing that song) with it in my car. And then hating myself for it.

That goddamn new Fergie song.

Yeah, that's my cracktastic song right now. I don't like her, I didn't like London Bridge {or really even get it} and I think she looks like a plastic surgery clown. But I can't stop listening to Fergilicious.

They tried to make me go to Rehab/
I said no, no, no!

I didn't think much of it at first but the damn thing grew on me. I'm a sucker for those sixties sounding boppy bits it's got. (So much for my musical appreciation classes in school. Can you believe I got a B in the Inter Cert exam?!)

Ah, Amy Winehouse. Your personal problems make the perfect soundtrack for me to do the dishes to.

"My Love" by Justin Timberlake has been playing ALL MORNING on BET, and now I'm hooked on it. It's so catchy! Arrrrgh!

Oh, they totally are. My most recent AAR cracksong of choice is "Change Your Mind."

Libelle- 11-30-2006
I am addicted to most of the stuff Jim Steinman has written. "Bat out of Hell" (and a lot of other Meat Loaf stuff)? Check. "Original Sin" (the Taylor Dayne version)? Check. "Total Eclipse of the Heart" (as sung by Bonnie Tyler)? Check. Even that Celine Dion song, "It's All Coming Back To Me Now". That man knows how to write deliciously cheesy, bombastic crack.

I love Fergilicious (and yes, I do put my name in...it sort of works for the most part). It's so good and totally awesome.

And Ring the Alarm? Man, I flove that song, especially the beginning with the siren and all...
