I've never had access to high-speed internet before, nor do I have cable, so I've been oblivious to pop icons like Justin Timberlake, and what music of his I've heard, I just rolled my eyes at...but I am SO into "Sexyback" and "My Love" right now.

They're both damn annoying, yet in this insanely catchy, sexy, addictive way. I am really sort of embarassed. I have to listen to them, like, at least 3 times a day.

What's worse, the videos (esp.) for "Sexyback" are also cracktastic. Even the laughable boy-band-style dancing holds me mesmerized.

This is really embarassing.

I didn't care for the Sexyback video at all. My Love, on the other hand, has awesome dancing, and I love to watch it.

It's funny how perceptions differ, right? I mean, to me, the dancing is totally silly. I mean, it's well-synched, but it isn't actually good.

Now, please excuse me while I go watch it again. Heh.

In other news, I was hunting for some music to make dinner to (aka...groove wildly around the kitchen while wielding sharp knives) and listened to most of Kick by INXS, and damn! A lot of that album is stupidcrackmusic. Wild Life: "I'll be your one...Your one and only, like animals locked in a zoo"...blah, blah, blah, "Wild life! Wild! Life! When it's bad, it ain't bad enough!"

Most of the album is like that. But so much of it is great in spite of the stupid lyrics. Mystify, Need you tonight, Never tear us apart?

All awesome.

Fuck it. I love "Wind It Up". I actually sat down this morning so I could watch the whole video before leaving for work. I hate myself.

Oh, dear God in heaven. I had successfully avoided this song because of the yodelling, but I saw it at the gym this morning, and will have to download it tonight.

I DON'T KNOW what Gwen Stefani did, maybe put some auditory crack into the song The Sweet Escape but I honestly can. not. stop. listening. to. it. "And tell me boy now wouldn't that be sweet?" And that damn "woohoo! YEE hoo!" chorus! Crack!

NovemberRain- 01-03-2007
I flove "The Sweet Escape". It's actually my favorite song on the album.

whatthedeuce- 01-04-2007
Dude, The Sweet Escape is so awesome! I hope it doesn't get played out too soon. I don't wanna be sick of it just yet.

Me too, and I feel so ashamed. Because I totally did not go to after-Christmas sales just to get the CD for a rocking 5.99$. No, not at all.

"Dirty Little Secret" is even more addictive than "Move Along."

I have listened to "Dirty Little Secret" countless times. So good.

Okay, I don't know if it is stupid music, but the whole album Oh, No by Ok Go is crack. All I seem to do is alternate between that and Justin Timberlake.

Okay, for a change of pace, I give you Obsession by Animotion. From back in the 80s, when the crack was pure and sweet.

polarbear- 01-05-2007
Someone help me - I can't stop listening to "You Know My Name", the theme song from Casinio Royale. It's a frickin' James Bond theme fer chrissake! How am I enjoying it so much?

The Lady of Shalott- 01-05-2007
I'm not going to help you, polarbear, since I was just listening to it and it's made it onto my own private Cracktastic playlist. So, um...it's a good song!

polarbear- 01-05-2007
The fact that I obtained it yesterday and it's already in my "Top 25 most played" on iTunes tells you all you need to know about its cracktastic properties. People, be aware! THIS SONG IS NOT SAFE.

That video is pure awesome-ness, especially the incredibly cheap production values (Motel 6-type bedspreads, etc).

Beyonce's "Irreplacable" is the crackiest song ever. I think I need to learn all the words so I can sing along loudly in my car.

OH yeah! I'll get stuck in a 80s time warp.
