I love "Maneater," and I have no idea why it didn't do better.
whatthedeuce- 12-08-2006
I listen to Maneater off my hard drive, but it's not the same as hearing it in the car spontaneously. Plus, my car doesn't have a CD player so I can't ever hear it while I'm driving unless I'm playing it in my head.

I liked Maneater when it first came out, but then at work, our display TVs played a store video, and the video clip just happened to be one of the things on it. And this video was only so long, so it would repeat throughout the day. So I would hear the song a lot within a nine hour shift.
Fergalicious is starting to grow on me. I feel so embarrassed!

I had thought I had exercised the demons, but those harpies give me a ear worm if I just hear one damned note of "Buttons" by PCD. I hate them , really I do, so why can't I quit this song!!!

The DJ at the office Christmas party played London Bridge last night and I was singing and shaking my ass like there was no tomorrow. Granted, some of that was because of the alcohol, but I'm still embarrassed.

I went to a TV taping of the War at Home last night, and in between shooting scenes, there was lots of stupidcracktastic music being played! I heard London Bridge, Maneater, Fergalicious, Let's Get It Started, etc. I was in heaven!

| Topic--I cannot stop listening to the new Good Charlotte song, "Keep Your Hands Off My Girl." I would hate myself, but justify it only because it really sounds nothing like any of their other music. |
Crap, me too. I just discovered this song yesterday and I've listened to it way more than I should have. I hate myself.
Plus, I've also heard (part of) another new song of theirs called "The River" and the little part of it that I've heard is stuck in my head too. Again, I hate myself.

The la-*test*-('") Jay Z song is beyond dumb, but I've been singing it all day.
'Show me whatchu got lil' mama
Show me whatchu got lil' lady
Show me whatchu got shawty
Show me whatchu got baby
hands up and wave and wave and wave'
*collapses in a hip-hop induced heap*

If "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" by Trace Adkins doesn't get out of my head soon, I'm going to be wishing for Sylar to steal my brain. Gah!

I bought Gwen Stefani's album today. Why? WHY? If anybody else was contemplating it, don't do it. It's really bad, and I say this as someone who loves herself some crackmusic. "The Sweet Escape" is okay, but the rest of the album is really not enjoyable at all. Ugh.
I also ordered the Amy Winehouse cd off of Amazon. THAT I am excited about. Rehab is awesome.
NovemberRain- 12-11-2006
"The Sweet Escape" is my fave song off the album. I'm not sure yet if I like the rest of the songs. The album is definitely a letdown after Love. Angel. Music. Baby.
nikita- 12-12-2006
I downloaded Gwen's new album and I hated all but three songs ("Wind It Up" - yeah, it grew on me, "Yummy" and "Don't Get It Twisted"). I don't get the love for the title track ("The Sweet Escape") - yeah, it's a good song but that "yeeeehooo" part totally ruins the entire song for me. I liked more songs from Love Angel Music Baby than I do from the new one, which is saying a lot because I hate about half that album. Please let this be her last solo album.
Maestro- 12-12-2006
I don't love her album, but I do like "4 in the Morning". "Wonderful Life", and "Early Winter"

DeBarge's "Rhythm of the Night" is terrible, yet awesome at the same time.
keenai- 12-12-2006
*gasp*
That song is not terrible! It is awesome. Especially because it is connected to one of the grea-*test*-('") movies of all time.
