I hear you. The "whoo-hoo" and "YEEE-hoo"s pull me right in. I think it's a much stronger and catchier single than "Wind it Up."

The fact that I like a song with a title in text-speak probably means I need to turn in my English degree as well.

The bassline of "Hang Me Up to Dry" by Cold War Kids has been stuck in my head for going on two weeks now. I just realized yesterday that it's suspiciously similar to the main riff of The Knife's "Heartbeats" - another song that refused to leave my brain - so that could explain it.

The Fratellis' "Flathead" is massively addictive. It's such a fun, upbeat song with catchy guitar licks. I cannot stop listening to it.

Has anyone mentioned Avril Lavigne's new song, Girlfriend? Cracktaaaaastic. Also Katharine McPhee's single, Over It. Which I seriously need to get my hands on, because right now I just keep having to go to YouTube and ~~watch~~ listen to the video.

I can't stop listening to the Pussycat Dolls' Wait a Minute. And I so want to! I'm ashamed to have it on my mp3 player but every time it comes on, I'm bopping along all "wait a minute, ooh, why you tripping like that?"
