Yeah, I just downloaded my 6th JT song...I'm hoping it's the last, damn him.
And "Say it Right" hooked me like, whoa. I'm convinced it's the trip-hop style beat that does it.
Say It Right is music crack. Of course I feel the same way about Maneater. I know some people are confused by Nelly's sudden change in style but I can't complain if this is the type of music it produces.
I like "Promiscuous" and "Maneater" is okay, but there's something about "Say it Right" that is just perfect and really works for me. It's such a catchy song.
I can't stop listening to Voltaire and the Oddz's "Come Sweet Death" from that Neil Gaiman tribute album that came out last year. Usually I can't stand Voltaire, but this is just so peppy and fun.

It's been AGES and yet 'SexyBack' is still shameful addiction in musical form to me.
The Music and Lyrics soundtrack is all crack. I guess it's to be expected since it was all composed by Fountains of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger, who also did the music for "That Thing You Do!". I've seriously had "Pop! Goes My Heart", "Buddha's Delight", and "A Way Back Into Love" running on a continuous loop in my brain.
Re: Nelly Furtado and "Say It Right": The song has a GREAT chorus, but wtf up with the awful verses, Nelly? A song isn't good unless it's ALL good.
Oh, I wish you all would stop being mad at Justin Timberlake and just accept the fact that he is ridiculously talented. Come on, really, now. Hehehe. World domination -- it's only a matter of time for Justin!
That "Grace Kelly" song? I just found out two days ago which song it was. I had no idea that was the song being talked about, because I'd never heard the name up until then. It's pretty catchy, that one.

I've been hearing about him for a while but I only heard the song for the first time on the radio last night and I had to go get it from iTunes immediately! I love the chorus, it makes me want to get up and do a crazy interpretative dance. And I'm not ever drunk or high on sugar.

Funnest album since Queen's Grea-*test*-('") Hits. Damn if he doesn't sound just like Freddie, and damn if I didn't realise how much the world needs a Freddie.
And the thing about it is that Mika (that's the guy's name) is a trained musician (Royal Academy of musicthings) and he's not ashamed to make such crack fun music.
That song was on my mix from sister_kat and now I can't stop playing it - it's like a disease. Please, someone help me click off the "repeat song" button!

We just got back from seeing Music & Lyrics and I've got Pop Goes My Heart stuck on auto replay in my skull. Fabulous "video" to the song, though. And very true to the early to mid 80's cheesy MTV video era.
