The whole damn soundtrack of High School Musical is crack, but "Breaking Free" is my drug of choice. My sister's high school is doing the stage version (which I've heard is a little different from the movie) for their spring musical and I am so there.

People, people. Breaking Free? We're All in This Together? Start of Something New? Clearly the best song on the High School Musical soundtrack is Stick to the Status Quo. Clearly.

I appear to have unleashed a monster. Sorry about that.

And yes, I've downloaded the album.

I've finally broken and downloaded the Avenue Q soundtrack after having The Internet is for Porn lurking on my iPod for a while - and it truly is my new crack, hilariously funny and incredibly catchy. I have to see this on the West End, like, yesterday.

Everyone's a Little Bit Racist is pretty damn catchy.

Thanks a lot, guys, now I've got to get my hands on the High School Musical CD. As well as the DVD to own.

Behold, the crackiest crack song ever: Everyone Else Has Had More Sex Than Me.

Fine Gwen Stefani! You win! You have broken me! This morning I found myself singing Wind It Up and I love The Sweet Esacpe.

How does she do that? The first time I heard The Sweet Escape I was all, 'meh, that's a rubbish song'. The second time, I couldn't stop singing it, and had to download it immediately.

The same thing happened with Hollaback Girl. Gwen Stefani is queen of this thread (and Justin Timberlake is king).

I love If You Were Gay and My GF Who Lives In Canada.

What songs get stuck in your head?

This morning I woke up and Age of Aquarius was bopping around in there, but instead of Age of Aquarius it was Age of America?

Other songs: White & Nerdy, Whiskey Bar...

This Ain't A Scene, It's A Goddamned Earworm!

Seriously, I've actually listened to the song twice. However, inside my head? It's on permanent repeat. And driving me crazy. Why can't any of the songs I actually like, or actually put on repeat in iTunes get stuck in my head?

If I go on a murderous rampage soon, I'm going to blame Fall Out Boy.

I have literally had the melisma from "And He Shall Purify" from Messiah stuck in my head for the past year. Sometimes other songs with supercede that one, but it's still always there somewhere in the back. I also can never remember how long it takes to end, so it goes on and on until it gets too low to be notes. Then it starts again at the top.

Queen Esther- 01-30-2007
I constantly have at least one song stuck in my head. Usually more though. Right now, it's "I Feel Pretty" from West Side Story, and a hymn that goes "Dance, dance, wherever you may be/ for I am the lord of the dance said he/ I will lead you all / wherever you may be / I will lead you all / in the dance said he." I haven't heard the song in at least eight years.

I think the worst was the week I had "Magic Dance", "Bohemian Rhapsody", and "Who Wants to Live Forever" stuck in my head.

sunshine95- 01-30-2007
Like Queen Esther, I usually have at least one song stuck in my head at any given time. Right now it's alternating between Kansas' "Carry On My Wayward Son," Styx's "Renegade," and Fall Out Boy's "Hum Hallelujah" (from their new album).
