Welcome To The Black Parade is addictive stuff. It's one of those songs that plays itself in your head when you're supposed to be working.
| QUOTE | | kindred, I thought you were gonna say it's one of the only non-hip-hop songs on MCR's new album! My mind was poised to cave in from amusement and utter confusion! |
Heh, me too. Then I tried to imagine what hip-hop MCR would sound like. Then I was disturbed.

Haha - I like to keep you guessing with every post, people ...!
Taking it back to the old skool for a moment, I downloaded 'Push It' and 'Whatta Man' the other day, and they're on heavy repeat on my iPod at the moment.
Push It is the jam! I get all crazy when I hear it while I'm driving. I probably frighten other drivers.
I would rank it as one of my favourite songs of all time, without question. And the video is absolutely superb as well.

Speaking of old school, Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar On Me" is crack.
Yay-yeah! That's still my damn ringtone! I loves that song!

And will weird out your fellow train passengers when you chair dance to it! Or, er, so I've heard.
Aww, you were dancing for me, weren't you? You're such a sweetie even when I'm not around to keep an eye on you!
So last night, I was going through del.icio.us's mp3 tag filter, and I was introduced to the pure awesomeness of the Scissor Sister's version of Take Me Out. I learned two things from this:
A.) it really DOES sound like an Elton John song and
B.) IT IS MADE OF WIN.
I also found The Rolling Stones doing a cover of Just My Imagination and while not as deliciously cracky as "Take Me Out", it is still fun.
If I Had a Million Dollars by Barenaked Ladies is my new stupidcrackmusic favorite. I can go around singing that all day.

Yes to all those choices! I would add AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long" and Bon Jovi's "Livin' On A Prayer" to that 80s music list that I keep playing on my iPod.
"Hood Boy" by Fantasia is the epitome of crack. Loves it!
I was just coming to mention that! The horns...the horns y'all.
For me old school AC/DC crack is TNT.
More pure crack from the 80s. Almost too obvious, really, but it had to be done.
Ugh, I've never once made it through all of The Safety Dance. I think that might be the worst thing to emerge from the '80s.
