Also, Jeff Zucker apparently implied that Days might not last past 2009. Man, the soap fan in me is all stressed out this week. I don't watch Days, I haven't watched Passions in ages, and I'm pissed at the two ABC soaps I do watch. Nevertheless, sadness. I don't want this wacky genre to die! I love it so, even when I hate it.

Oh, for God's sake! If they >>kill Dixie, then we'll have to put up with more of JR being mopey and turning completely evil, then blaming it on his mom's death. FUCK! Plus, she hasn't been annoying the crap out of me anymore, so I'd rather they kept her and killed off...hmm....Ryan! Plus, how can they do this to Tad? AGAIN?! Fuck, fuck, fuck!

Right. So, I was watching Passions, and the other Crane daughter is names "Pretty". WTF? Who knew Fancy was the lucky one? Also, Gwen seems to have actually left Ethan. And it doesn't look like it's a dream / fantasy sequence. The end is most definitely nigh.

Are you happy now? Babe is dead, dead, dead! I know I am happy. Now about Zarf...or Barf . . . who is now Zoey I think . . . hell, I am so confused. Almost as confused as Barf who is a woman inside of a man - so now Bianca can finally have a real love story that is safe. Because Zoey still has a penis, even though he is trying to become a woman. I am so confused...help!!!

I'm thrilled that Babe is dead, but if this turns out to be some faking-death-to-get-JR thing, I will hop up and down and gnash my teeth with rage. Then gnash my teeth with rage some more re: the de-lezzifying of Binks. Then still more teeth-gnashing re: horrible, horrible Krystal and her horrible, horrible Who's the Daddy storyline.

All in all, even with Babe dead, AMC isn't a very happy place for me.

I would have been sad over Babe if they hadn't finally made me dislike her in her last few episodes. How many freakin' goodbye kisses does Josh need? For someone so hell bent on saving her marriage, she sure managed to make out with another man in public a lot. And then she had the nerve to be upset with JR over it? Bitch, please.

On the other hand, I think neither Babe nor JR should be left to raise an innocent child. As much bad shit as Babe pulled, JR did try to kill her, which was going just a bit overboard. Morally speaking, he really has no ground on which to stand.

I still don't hate Krystal (although I loathe any babydaddy storyline), probably because I like the actress. That's what kept me from hating Babe for so long. Annoying as she could be, Alexa Havins did a hell of a job with the character.

The whole Bianca and Zarf (I won't call him Zoe) thing is horrid. I'd be more offended at the de-gaying of Bianca if I weren't so confused as to why they'd expect us to believe that anyone at all would be attracted to such an annoying person.

However, I must say that I loved the part when Erica, after having been complimented up and down by Zarf, suddenly decided that he wasn't that bad after all.

The show is making me dislike Kendall as well. Much as it bothers me to say it, Ryan is right and Spike is safer away from her. When she brought him back home with her just to spite Annie, that really pissed me off. Plus, it made me side with Ryan, so it pissed me off doubly.

Eh. For all of his craziness I do think JR seems like a good dad. He seems to actually spend time with Little Adam, and you know basically every one in PV's tried to kill someone. I mean Janet from another Planet was allowed to raise a kid.

I hate Babe. Seriously, your going to try to get custody by staging pics of JR kissing Zarf? Because thats somehow worse than your history of whoring around (With Josh, Jamie, Paul Cramer...etc..)? Cause hes a dude? Thats offensive on God knows how many levels.

Oh for goodness sake, don't get me going on Erica. What is she now, 70? I can't keep up with her behavior. You would think a woman who has been through menopause would have fewer emotional swings than what she has. "Oh Jack, Oh Jeff, Oh whoever is handy."

I'm going to come out with a rather unpopular opinion. I like Zoe (because she identifies as a woman, she is a woman). I think she was more annoying as Zarf, when he was faffing about Pine Valley talking about auras and bullshit. And as for them de-gaying Bianca? They've made a point to say several times that Zoe is a woman trapped in a man's body and that Bianca is still a lesbian. The problem is that transgender is somewhat of a complicated thing and to tackle it in daytime is even more complicated. But as far as I'm concerned, the show has done nothing so far as to intimate that Bianca is in love with a man. She's in love with a woman in a man's body.

I agree with Ryan in theory, but he's such an ass that I automatically take Kendall's side. He hulks all over town going on and on about how he must protect HISSON, and then never spends any time with the kid. I remember an episode a few weeks ago when he ordered Annie to pack Spike up and take him from Zach and Kendall at the casino, only to ship him off to the park with the nanny as soon as they got home. The nanny left the baby with Bianca, who left him with Julia, who then just kind of left the stroller all alone in the middle of the park. Excellent parenting, Ryan. Spike was totally safe there. I've hated this story since it began at New Year's. Ryan informs Kendall that he'll be keeping her kid instead of at least pretending to discuss it with her openly like a normal person would. He then weirdly tells her she can stay with Spike if she moves into the penthouse with him, like that's so much safer than her condo or the casino or wherever. And then this week, when he burst into her room and threatened to take her to court. Who does that? The woman's been away from her child for over a month (I think), she's stressed out and scared, and she's afraid that Ryan's creepy little insta!family is going to absorb her kid into their happy family unit and leave her out. This is Kendall we're dealing with. Of course she's going to freak out and overreact. But instead of approaching her calmly, sympathizing with her situation, and calmly talking some sense in her, he bursts into her room and threatens to sue for custody. Who does that? And that's just one of the many reasons I hate the writers of this show. Ryan has a valid point, and they could write this in a way that both parties are sympathetic. Instead, Ryan is written as a bullying ass and Kendall is written as a jealous shrew. They both behaved a little better today, but it's fleeting. Bravo, show.

There's also a good opportunity here to redeem Krystal a little bit, but I'm positive they won't take it. Now that she's lost her daughter, she could finally understand what she put Bianca through with the baby switch. She could feel genuinely remorseful about that, and sincerely express this remorse and newfound understanding to somebody. I don't care who, I just want it to be genuine and self-aware. Then, she could come clean about this new baby's paternity, accept the consequences, and start to rebuild her life on her own. Instead, we'll probably see her use Babe's death to self-righteously bully JR into keeping her secret. Then, when >>Babe comes back from the dead (Boo, you whore), she'll take it as some sort of holy sign that she really is entitled to this life she's manipulated her way into. Why, oh why, can't Babe just stay dead? Why?<<

I've blathered on enough, so I won't even go into this whole Zoe/Zarf thing except to agree that it's a way for the writers to give Bianca a safe "lesbian" relationship. Zoe is totally a woman, y'all. She feels it in her soul. But she'll continue to dress like a man (with the occasional Captain Jack Sparrow eye makeup), and she probably won't ever actually go through with the surgery. Because that might offend people somehow. I actually didn't have too much of a problem with the character until he became a walking, talking Babe propper. That is his only purpose 98% of the time.

The name is actually Zarf? Please tell me it's a Hungarian name or something.

That's his stage name. They made reference to his given name once, but I can't remember what it is.

If they actually have him go through with the surgery and Bianca gets together with Zoe at that point, I'll be less offended. But I still don't think I'll like the character.

Bobbie Eakes rocks but I've hated Krystal since she praised Babe for giving blowjobs to pass classes in school, and is now the mastermind of keeping another dad from knowing his kid.
