Tough call on which is worse -- on GL, you can't properly see OR hear the actors. But applying that to GH might make some of the show a lot more enjoyable.

I don't think F_W has a ban on soap wank, I just don't think anyone has ever bothered to write it up.

The sucktacularness of most soaps today only made me savor the return of Ron Carlivatti's writing to OLTL yesterday. Best hour of soap I've seen in *ages*. The Natalie and Jared and Tonio and Talia payoffs were aces. As was DorLor going medieval on Marrko's...balls, hee. If the Emmy's were in any way relevant or accurate RC will be walking away with it for best show.

Great promo for OLTL sweeps. I love ma show, after Dena Higley and Brian Frons I never though I'd have it back again.

Excuse while I gush. There are a ton of great overlapping stories (Jared lies about being a Buke, just like David the real Buke lied about being a Lord, Charlie is lying about being Rex's daddy, while Gigi lies to Rex about being Shane's Daddy, all going back to Rex lying to everyone about Todd being Sam's daddy) that are echoes of each other all set to go on blast, lots of romance, and as ever tons of humor from Tuc Watkins, and DorLor bringing the bitch down on every one. Oh and I'm loving the new guy in town Brody, he's the hot-*test*-('") tiny little man I have ever seen and he needs to throw down roots and mack on Layla.

All this talk about OLTL is making me wish I could see it....any ideas on where I can streamline it?

Unfortunately none that I know of, ABC streams only daily "recaps", but you can usually find the episodes on youtube, just enter a specific date and OLTL and you should get hits.

For any long time fans along with the return of Andrea Evans as Tina Roberts, we're getting Christopher Cousins as Cain Rogan. Cain Rogan *and* David Vickers in town at the same time. It will be Awesomeville.

The entire last week was great but my favorite bit was Ron Carlivati taking a pointed swipe at GH at around the 4:50 mark of this clip. Especially since hanging a kid on a meathook is portrayed as y'know EVIL.

I think I might try to pick up an OLTL habit. It's the only ABC soap I haven't watched for any extended period of time. GH is so boring and bad, and AMC has driven me to a point where I am currently pretending it doesn't exist. I miss having a soap to follow, so maybe I'll give the ABC show that's supposed to be good a try. If David Vickers is currently in town, well, that's all the more incentive. Love him.

I'd try waching OLTL but I just know I'm going to get burned soon enough. There's no way Frons is going to let OLTL play on its own for long. He's going to want to get the credit for it.
