One of the last episodes of GH that I saw was when Georgie died, so forgive me for focusing on this one nitpicky aspect of Diego being the killer when there are a million other idiotic things I should probably focus on instead. When Georgie's killer approached her in the park, she recognized him and said, "Oh, it's you" or "Thank goodness it's you" or something similar. If she saw Diego, shouldn't she have said something more along the lines of "OMG GHOST!" Or at the very least, "WTF, aren't you dead?" Stupid, stupid show.

Yeah, that's what happens when you get scab writers doing a show they don't really know. Of course, some of the shit Guza and Pratt wrote also sucked and was just as bewildering (Like did everyone forget that the only reason Carly owns half the Metro Court is because Luke blackmailed Jax? Then there's the fact that no one has ever -*test*-('")ed Sam's DNA to make sure she's related to the Cassadine family. And why doesn't Bobbie seem to care that her son has been missing for over a year and that he was conspicuously absent from his cousin Georgie's funeral. His best friend and the first person he came out to and they can't even get Ben Hogestyn in for 1 fucking minute).

GH pisses me off so much that I've gone from watching it, to watching it out of disbelief that anything could be that bad, to not watching it out of the belief that I deserved better. The show spends its time kissing the ass of characters I find morally reprehensible and personally unattractive. I'm sick of Sonny being a "good man." You know who's a good man or woman? Firepeople. Cops. Doctors. People who pick their kids up from school and don't act like they're okay with them being redheaded little psychopaths like Michael Corinthos. People who pay their taxes and don't get hitmen to off someone on their bidding. People who know what shampoo is and how to use it.

And whenever a character came along that I did enjoy, either they became friends of the Drab Four* and just as annoying, like Sam, or like Lorenzo and Alexis, they were used as punching bags so that those dipshits could be elevated even closer to sainthood.
Gah! I'm still mad and I haven't seen an episode in almost a year!

Has anyone seen the new way Guiding Light is being taped? It's weird. It's sort of like a YouTube video, but also it's a lot more believable to watch it this way. Especially with them filming on location in New Jersey. The outdoor sets look great. The only problem is that I don't need Reva's mouth filling up my screen. I think I might start TiVoing and watching to see if I can get back into it.

HEE! I said the same thing today. Except substitute Reva's mouth for "Kim Zimmer's chronic bitchface."

Exactly. And did I really need an extreme closeup of Olivia's forehead? You know, now that I think about it, the new style changes remind me of MTV's Undressed (which is weird because I'm pretty sure the current head writer for GL was also a writer on Spyder Games). Only a little more voyeuristic with the camera being in a stalker-position when Bill and Reva were talking at the table outside somewhere.

Anyone watching AMC? I really need them to stop with the Grach (Greenlee/Zach) crapola. I don't buy that they became bes-*test*-('") buddies down there especially when we saw how they bitched each other out every day they were down there. Zach repeatedly told her to shut up and she kept harping on how he destroyed her annoying ass life. Yet she gets bit by a snake, they pass out, RB comes back and they are now BFF. Screw that shit, man. These two people should never like each other. They definitely shouldn't be having heart to hearts and swinging around stripper poles while Kendall is fighting off a rapist.

I miss the days of Zach talking with Myrtle and Lily and Uncle Josh. Why can't Uncle Josh be his BFF?

And Ryan needs to go to hell and die.

Yeah. I can't watch AMC until the Grach stops. It's infuriating on so very many levels, the main one being that it MAKES NO SENSE. When are they supposed to have bonded in the hole? All those times he was yelling at her to shut up? All those times she was bitching and whining about people not letting her "live down" kidnapping and almost killing his baby? The whole "It took you kidnapping and almost killing my one son and helping cause the extreme premature birth and near death of my other son for me to like you!" vibe of this friendship is upsetting and makes no sense. Zach hated Greenlee long before she fucked with his family, so I really don't buy that King of the Grudge Holders loves her now that she's fucked with his loved ones in the worst possible way. Bleargh. The Greenlee propping is a nightmare.

The Grach idiocy was the final straw for me with this show (don't even get me started on Krystal and Tad and that whole mess). My posts on TWoP were getting crazier and rantier by the minute, so I had to take a break. My life is blissfully currently AMC-free. No watching, no recaps, no spoilers, nothing. The fact that I can still come in and post a ranty paragraph about how stupid this show is indicates that I'm still waaaay too invested, but I'm working on it!

I'm pretty much fastforwarding everything. Even some of the Angie/Jesse stuff because after the great reunion their story has gotten a little "meh". I just stop ffwding to catch the next time Annie gets pissed off at Ryan.

I stopped right before Angie came back. I've toyed with the notion of at least watching the Jessie/Angie clips on YouTube, but I'm certain that once the newness wears off, they'll be just as boring and/or rage-inducing as everything else, and I don't need another reason to be pissed at this show.

I also can't believe how much I like Annie now. I especially like the actress. I find myself hoping that she's still around when the writers get fired and I start watching again. She can hook up with Josh.

Yes! I totally want her to hook up with Uncle Josh. I hated her when she first came on. They threw her at Ryan and that gave her what felt like an elevated position. I remember her snarking on Erica at Thanksgiving the year she came on and it was like, who the hell are you?? But she grew on me and I really liked her during the big crash storyline and I liked her vibe with Zach.

I also had a lot of hatred for Josh but he's mellowed out a lot and he's down with the Kane girls so I think he should be happy.

Seriously -- keep Annie sassy and let her get down and dirty with Josh. Because Kendall's a freaking saint now, and Greenlee's sweet as pie. Nobody has any edge on this damn show.
