I think Jason's got his own drama going on,

I'm not even watching and I know that, but no one not writers, not robotic actors, not anybody will convince me that that bitch has EVER gotten over Robin, or that he ever will. So when he does learn about Scrub baby, I'm sure Burton will play it like I think he always does when it comes to Robin and do that petulant, pouty, 'you broke what was left of my human heart/parts you bitch' thing with his face, and since it's the only thing that differentiates from his usual, blink intensely but infrequently style of "acting" I interpret it as not over her, not even just a little bit.

More likely it is me who's not over it, heh.

Did anyone catch OLTL yesterday? The Dorian/Joey reunion was awesome. I loved that summer they were together. I think it was the summer before 8th grade and I remember either rushing to my house or my best friend's house every day to catch their scenes. Her calling him "Joe", the two of them on the motorcycle, speaking Italian? Loved it all. And it was nice to see Nathan playing the subtext up with the two of them alone in the room. Like if she wasn't currently doing his father he would have made a move. Oooh!

I was cheering for mackage every step of the way, and I knew Nathan would bring the subtext, and I loved their new vibe, when they first hooked up he was a boy wrapped around her finger, and yesterday was a huge tease of how a more mature Joe would handle Dorian, and lo it was HOT! I seriously clapped like a little girl all the way through Nathan's scenes.

I also loved the meta subtext between Erica Slezak and NF, sooo sweet, he told the press doing the guest turn was like coming home. He's too adorable and decent for words.

I squealed during all his scenes which considering it was about the death of his grandfather and at one point he's at the grave of his father should have been wrong but I didn't care.

Hee. Better than me. I kept hoping Gina Togonino was going show up as Kelly and be all "Joey, I've been trapped in a well! The bitch who ditched you for the Kevin who could barely act? Not me!" and then they'd run off and be adorable together again.

The only OLTL clip of Nathan I could find. Hee, he's like twelve. I can't believe that was 1994. Jeez I'm old.

I don't know if anyone here watches As the World Turns but it was the soap of my childhood and family so I watch it when I get the chance. Lately I've been watching the episodes to see the Luke/Noah storyline and have really gotten into the story. Of course I started watching again for Luke and Noah and decided to stick around for Henry and Vienna. This and the scene from today where they actually try to run the dinner crack me up. I think I'll have to stick with the show just to see how these crazy kids are doing.

I started watching ATWT when I was about ten but gave up on it years ago. Predictably, as soon as I heard about the big gay kiss, I ran right over to YouTube and watched the entire storyline. And I'm good and hooked.

Henry's one of the few things I missed about the show while I was gone. I love him to bits.

Kiran- 08-30-2007
Yeah, Henry/Vienna is one of the few things I'm genuinely loving watching.

The writers of General Hospital have done some really questionable things before but having Carly be snippy and bitchy to her husband after he'd been forced, at gunpoint, into having sex with his brother's crazy ex-girlfriend? The shittiest by far. That show is so sick and twisted when it comes to... everything.

Kiran- 08-30-2007
Yeah that scene with Jason and Carly? With him trying not to laugh? Horrific.

Just when you think General Hospital can't sink any lower, TPTB manage to find a way to do so.

I have a GH question, actually. Does anyone know whether Luke officially closed his club or we just never see it anymore?

TiffanyNichelle- 09-02-2007
I think it might be unofficially closed since Luke is off hiding comatose Laura from Scotty.

ulkis- 09-02-2007
Ah, but if they never mentioned it I can pretend it's still there! woo! I looooooved that place. It was a great set.
