When is the 10,000th ep being aired?

Sometime in July..I'm thinking late July but not sure.
I agree, Joey/Dorian were smokin' but in the long run and realistic world (I mean hello, dorian and joey's mom, mortal enemies, not mother-in-laws) I floved fillion's joey and gina's kelly. They were the cu-*test*-('") things without being pukey or dumb. As much as I love Dan Gautheir's kevin, dammit he belongs with cassie and in my heart, joey/kelly should be together. I don't care what cast of actors have played Kevin/Kelly I have always hated the idea of them together..period. It was horrible how they got together, it still is horrible that they are together off-screen, even if I didn't care for heather tom's version of kelly or the gal before. But the last few years with all the horrible writing, I'm not sure how they write kelly as ditching joey to be with kevin/then cheats on kevin with his eldest son, thus having kevin's grandson, then leaving kevin to go back to joey who then would be the step-father to his great-nephew..even for a soap that is a WTF?

Yeah I still think breaking up Dorian/Joey was crap, it was a great story though since it was a true umbrella story with Vicky's alters and David's Lord scam and Todd being the real heir, something soap opera's no longer seem to do. Ever. I can't begrudge it too much because it gave me the basis for David/Dorian. Kelly and Joey were cute but mostly uninteresting to me, save Nathan's general adorableness.

I finally came around with Dan Gaultier/Heather Tom, if the writing had been there I could have finally forgiven them their assy, assy beginnings. Dan was the first Kevin since Stapleton to really make me like the character. But wait, I thought I'd been following along, I thought Kelly left town to reunite with Kevin? Did they seriously write that she went back to Joey, because like all he's been doing since she dumped him is waiting to take her back? Jesus, Higley needs to never work again, at least not in soaps.

I'm also not sure which exact day in July the 10,000 ep is but I do know that on the 4th, David Vickers/Tuc will being in a red, white, blue speedo and otherwise without clothes, so that one is going on the Tivo too. I love David Vickers.

No they haven't written kelly going back to joey. I just meant in my fangirl heart that's what I would like to have happen but I doubt it because of all the kelly buch in-breeding (seriously that's pretty much all she ever dates) even for a soap it would be screwed-up.

I never warmed up to Heather Tom as kelly, not sure why. To me she just was never kelly and I know half of that is the shitty writing. I think the first year she was on all she did in every scene was cry her heart out, literally.
I like to think if they brought her on as a new character I would have liked her more but not sure. That and to me she just didn't generate any romantic spark with any of the guys they tried her with. It was so weird seeing her at Llannfair talking with viki and asa. Even though I've only caught snippets of Y&R it's like, why is Victoria here as a bleached blond talking to Viki?

I thought Heather Tom was fantastic, but not Kelly. The writing was not there and there was no remnant of the funky, wild Kelly that had existed before. I didnt expect her to still be that way, she grew up, but GT's Kelly still retained some of the spunk, so to have her rewritten as a budding society matron was just depressing. All the fire was extinguished from her.

And yeah, I hated how Kelly/Kevin got together and could NEVER warm up to them. Even when everyone was saying Viki was being a bizatch to Kevin, much as I love Dan Gauthier, all I could think of was Pod!Viki during the McTavish years telling Joey to shut up and get over the fact that his brother stole his wife and stop being depressed, and standing by him during his stealing of wives, bedding an entire generation of Cramer women (watch out Adriana!), and cheating on Cassie in the worst possible way. Also he stole a wife from his stepbrother...whose a reverand (I loved Cassie/Kevin, but that was cold. And I miss Andrew).

I've never been able to like Kevin ever since he started wife-stealing. It seemed like he couldn't be interested in a woman unless she had romantic ties to his brother. First there was Cassie, his step-brother Andrew's wife, then there was Kelly. It seems like there should be another woman in there but my mind is blanking.

How exactly is Adriana a Cramer? I know she's Dorian's adopted daughter but I don't get why Dorian never ever talked about her until she was a teenager.

No Adrianna's supposed to be Dorian's biological daughter via some Santi guy, while in Mendorra. At the time I loved that story because I think Mel Gallo looks SO much like Laura Kaufman/Cassie and Dorian/Robin Strasser, plus with her name she could be called an Addie. I thought and still think she's a great little actress, though Adrianna's been utterly ruined by the writing the last few years, and Mel's work has gone mostly down the tubes with it. But under Malone David/Dorian/Adrianna were my the most goregous and wiity soap family eva.

The other woman Kevin went after was Blair, his wife's cousin and his Uncle Todd's ex. Kevin was an ass for a long time, but Malone and Gaultier did much to mitigate my hatred. Like he actually expressed regret for what he did to Cassie and to Joey, which the character had never done before, and DG really really sold that shame and regret.

oh, I never liked Andrew.

In my opinion, OLTL was soooo awesome back in 1994! Okay, early to mid-90s.

Then, things stopped making sense.

I still watch it out of residual love, but....I have come to the conclusion that I would love to see Blair with another character, not Todd any longer.

I never held it against too much that kevin "stealed" cassie from andrew. First off, they were barely step-brothers..his mom married sloan on his deathbed in the hospital, in all actuality, kevin/cassie knew each-other long before andrew came into the picture. In fact, I believed before they sorasd kevin, cassie might have actually babysat kevin way back in the day?? But anyways..the writing was better plus Laura Koffman and Kevin Stapleton were smokin' hot back in those days. And it was so bittersweet and good television because andrew was/is a good guy and didn't deserve what happened to him. That was the ONLY time I enjoyed Tea Delgado when andrew kind of went below the moral fiber for a bit and threw tea in cassie's face a couple times.

But of course with recasting kevin and McTrash and Phelps taking the reign, kevin/cassie turned into a former shell of the passionate couple they once were and kevin started his tenure and shitty scumbag when he slept with his nurse barbara graham and sent cassie into another nervous breakdown.

Kevin/Joey/Kelly was absoutely the worst SL in the last several years in forming a new "super couple"..Even though Gina acted the hell out of those scenes, it all fell flat because A) how long had kevin and kelly known each-other and had a kind of pissy brother/sister relationship, with NO sexual tension underneath it. But the actors playing kevn/joey..ugh..was just horrible. I still to this day want joey to get the last word in all of that but now he's "above it all"..just sucked.
But it was like they literally were laying the groundwork to get kelly/joey back together for well over a year, then literally overnight, kevin's pukey 2-minute fiance, Grace, died who happened to be an old friend of kelly's and all of a sudden on NYE, a drunk kevin/kelly almost do the nasty then decide they both are insanely in love with one another. So to help matters kelly decides to run off and elope with joey AND try to get PG so she won't "want" kevin so bad. Thank God they didn't start kelly's crazy theme of getting a baby no matter where and how until after she married kevin.

And my friend and I did the math, you know long-term families on soaps, lots of family members hook up with various other members of the families..lots of dating/marrying one sibling to the next, but even though Kevin's is bad with the Cramers, first Cassie, then cousin kelly then other cousin blair (which I didn't classify as a real relationship, just months of flirting then a one-night stand) look at Kelly's it's unreal how she's peeled through the Buchannen men.

And at one time she lived in the carriage house with joey and eventually got engaged or married the other 2 guys (kevin, drew) that were his roomates.

First Joey, then cousin Drew who she got engaged only to lose him two seconds later when he got shot. Then back to Joey who she marries, then leaves him for the brother Kevin, marries him, gets divorced, gets engaged again to kevin only to sleep with his teenage son Duke from where she has a son Zain. Um..yeah.

Just a bump to squee about Nathan Fillion's appearance on OLTL this Thursday and Friday, and because David Vickers is joining Wisteria Lane. Now if only Cherry would cast the diva herself Robin Strasser I would be in perfect ex-Soap Star heaven Sunday's this fall.

I know General Hospital is trash but damn if they don't keep finding ways to make me stop watching. Robin's prengant?!?! Holy shit, GH. You win, I'll keep watching. But one day, I swear, I'll stop this abusive relationship we're in. Just not today.

How did Robin get pregnant? If there's anyone who'd be very careful about using condoms, it's Robin.

I have to express my immense joy that someone on that show is going to have a baby that is not fathered by one of the mobsters* and that said baby is a member of a long loved family.

*Please tell me the baby is Patrick's. I'll cry if it turns out to be Jason or even worse, Sonny.

Dorian is still on OLTL...albeit being horribly ill used.

Its Patrick. It has to be. And OMG shut up Liz! I used to love you! Stop Jesusfying the mob hitman! Hes not even hot anymore!

Oh, I know Dorian is still on OLTL but it's the "used horribly ill' part that drives me nuts, and she and Nathan Fillion are pretty tight as are she and Tuc. So I'd love it if she could work a guest star shot with them on DH. She and Tuc as David and Dorian are one of my all time favorite couples, thank goodness I had the sense to tape them, unlike the classic Todd and Blair years of 95/96.

Aw, Robin's pregnant with a Scrub baby? I love Robin, and I hope this eats away at the small piece of crumpled tin that is Jason's soul.

I think Jason's got his own drama going on, and really outside of Night Shift (which I don't watch, so correct me if I'm wrong), I don't think he's talked to Robin much since she came back to fix his brain tumor with Noah and Patrick (maybe when she revealed that Baby John wasn't Jax's but Nikolas' kid, he might have talked about her doing the same thing with him and A.J.)
