I'm still getting CatholicPeopleMeet.com, with an invitation to meet "Beautiful Roman Catholic singles." Well, I'm not exactly "beautiful," but kudos to Forumer for getting the rest right.

Next to that ad was one for Gay Online Dating. Hee. Take that, Benny XVI.

Uh oh. . .I mocked the Pope. Still have that link for Catholic guilt, Mr. I?

There's a discussion about Valentine's Day presents in the Etiquette thread so what could be more appropriate than a site inviting me to become a monk?

I'm getting an ad telling me it is "Free to Join" the Catholic Church.

Apparently, tithing is optional.

No no no! JOINING is indeed FREE. But once you've joined ... it's like a free gift that requires costly maintenance.

So it's a half-truth. I wonder what Jesus would have to say about that.

I'm getting an ad inviting me to book David Gest for functions and events. Hasn't he scarred me enough?

Well, he DOES look like those evil ventriloquist dolls that show up in movies and tv shows from time to time.

On the front page I'm getting ads for Warrior Security Bollards. Now there's a kids' tv series waiting to happen.

jolie laide- 02-09-2007
No, GoogleAds, I most certainly WILL NOT "meet Norbit."

Ohhhhh Peaches- 02-10-2007
There was just an ad on the main page for the Television Without Pity book!

tothemax- 02-10-2007
I got an ad for Lost. For once, an ad that makes sense.

Oh, I've been seeing that one for a while. Think that it has to do with the word "Snark" being in our name?

I just feel bad for the poor Lewis Carroll fansites.
