Gastric Band - Cancun MX
Prominent Surgeon, Great Hospital First Class Experience & Affordable

It's the idea of your gastric band surgery affording you a "First Class Experience" that really sells it. It's like having elective surgery at Club Med, right?

The girl in the goth dating service ad is like a cross between Harley Quinn and Hayley Duff. And not in a good way.

Okay... in the Interesting News Sotires thread, I saw a banner ad is about searching online atricle databases about famous murders.

Creepy.

In Literary and Multimedia, I got a "September 11th: Terrorism or Conspiracy?" ad. Grr.

This morning the ads are for Ponystars, to which I can only think "My Ponies Hate You!" from FW.

This is a little bit of a gripe as well as an observation. Moments ago in the Blowing Off Steam thread, there was an ad entitled "cuntlickers."

Come on, google ads. That's not what I expect around here.

I'm not into HoYay, and usually see the evidence that folks point out in various shows to be a total imposition of the viewer's desire on an otherwise innocent scene, look, or exchange of dialogue.

That having been said, the Crusoe banner ads that I'm seeing make it look like he was marooned on Fire Island.

Aww, yay for vampirefreaks.com in the Twilight thread!

Poubelle- 10-17-2008
In General Fame Talk, I got an ad for "Which Twilight Character Are You?" with the whole cast done up cartoon-style on a red background that would periodically flash blue. I suppose that's sparkling when you're a .gif.

I've seen that ad a lot on myspace.

Which X-Man are you? Longshot? Longshot? If I get Longshot, I'm walking off a bridge.

I got an ad for Madame Tussaud's, that had a notice, in tiny print at the bottom, that all images depicted wax figures owned by them (so, I suppose they won't get in trouble for using a celeb's picture without permission).

It's the your/you're error that makes this ad special.

In the current reads thread I noticed an ad for penguin books. It really threw me to see an advertisement for something so respectable.
