Hello, and welcome to the forum. We're always glad to have new people take the plunge and sign up.
Unfortunately, we've been getting a lot more spammers lately. The number of them registering for our board has gone up dramatically in the last two weeks.
As a result, we're rejecting a lot of people whose email addresses, usernames, or IPs seem suspect (crosschecking with a number of resources for stopping spammers). If we rejected you by mistake, it isn't because we don't want you around. It is because for some reason, possibly accidental, you got bunched in with the spammers. The best and quickest way to fix this is to email any admin or moderator (see the list
here) and let them know you were rejected but are in fact a real person, and we'll clear things up.
Also, please allow for up to a day for your account to be approved. We try to approve all accounts within a couple hours, but sometimes work and such keep us away from the computer.
