::Whew!:: I found you guys! I didn't post or surf too often at the old snarkfest, but went there tonight and was all "wha?" At first I thought maybe it had gone members only and I wasn't logged in. Then I couldn't log in (username not found etc) so I tried to reregister - only to tell me that my username was already registered. It was very confusing, but in the end I was deleted but able to "reactivate" my account by requesting my password.

Clearly once I'd logged in I discovered that really didn't help. So taking a shot in the dark, I clicked on the Top Poster link, figuring that someone in the top 10 would mention it on their blog. So thanks to Cleo I made my way here!

I was a lurker at the old board. I found out about the move from the displacedsnark yahoo group. I'd like to repeat thanks to all the mods for getting the site back up, now I can get back to not doing school work. Wait.... is that a good thing?

Another lurker checking in and very glad to be back. Many, many thanks to Libelle for the email. I'm not sure I ever would have found my way here. I kept checking the old site, figuring it was just down for a while. I even tried a Yahoo search but nothing new came up (I see I should have Googled, but I usually have terrible luck with Google vs. Yahoo). The new place looks great, thanks to the mods/admins for putting it all together.

And now I'm off to catch up!

While it sucks that I lost my name and ranking, I'm just glad that my crac..I mean Snarkfest is back online! What happened anyway? I thought I was going crazy.

You guys all did a wonderful job getting this site back up. But, where did it go? All I know, is that I had some hard core studying for my schooling, and your site was gone when I was done with everything. Freaked me out.

Ultimately, I am just glad everything is alright.

It was all just a cunning plan to make sure students didn't waste time snarking when they should have been working on their end-of-term papers.
