Great job, mods! And nice job on getting the forum up so quickly! I remember that when FT died, the new forums took a bit of time to get up and running but you guys built up this one in no time at all (and with no glaring colours PXthis)! Incredibly impressive.

I too want to give my thanks to the mods for their quick work. I kept going back to the old site because I really wanted to talk about VM and when I realized it was down I kinda freaked. I'm glad I remembered about the backup community!

Thanks for the mammoth effort, Charlotte Le Cleo. One comment I will make is that it makes me even more grateful to you guys, not just because you dealt with all the er, politics, but because you all have LJs and other ways of chatting about pop culture with complete strangers. So you could have just walked away from SF and still had a cool online life while for a lot of us, SF really is our online home (I do have real-life friends, honest!, but they just don't get the joy to be found in snarking about crazy fans!). So thanks again.

Just one more nitpick - could the Warn boxes be a less obvious colour? Not a huge issue but I don't remember noticing them at all on SF 2.0 and now I get a mini-heart attack when I see them (FT flashback!)

And one more question - is this forum costing anyone anything?

Congrats on getting the new forum up and running. You guys work fast! It sucks about the old board, but it's also kind of nice to be around posts that are just starting up.

If I have a little time this weekend, maybe I can look into designing something. The Marcelle font I used on the banner also has a bunch of swashes you can put at the end of a word, kind of like on a baseball team logo. It could look really fun on a jersey or a t-shirt. (Team Snarkfest?)
