Yes, that's surely why she did it. A gift for Marilyn. Because of the sadness. And that sort of thing.

Noooooo! The one track Lindsay should be worried about is the track her acting career is on. Her albums were seriously a misguided idea. (I didn't mind stuff like "Ultimate" when she was still with Disney--it seems all Disney tween stars end up with some music credits, anyway, plus there's that bit where her character in Freaky Friday had a band, so it wasn't a big stretch to have her on the soundtrack.) But did anyone take her music career seriously? Her second album completely flopped, too.

Y'all. I would rather walk through fire than have my sister hanging around while I spent an afternoon naked. What is wrong with that family?

That just makes that family seem so much more fucked up than they already seemed.

Well, I am glad I know that they wouldn't let their 14 year old daughter wander through any old nude photo session. Only the classy ones.

I'm currently taking childbirth classes with my sister*, and frankly, it's creeping us both out a little bit. We don't even like changing clothes in the same room.



*I am the coach.

All that is going out the window when you're actually coaching her through the birth. At least that's what I have learned from movies like Knocked Up. This is why I am never having children, at least not biologically.

On topic...Lindsay's body looks surprising real, in a good way, but her face looks so sad it makes me want to cry. She looks old and tired and not really there, and it makes me feel dirty to look at them. For something sexy, you need a sense of joy, of spontanaiety - like Angie Dickinson's iconic photograph where she is wearing a turtleneck sweater and high heels and nothing else. There's none of that here.

I think the pictures are terrible. I really think she looks like hell. And I like Lindsay a lot. But these are not good. I just can't figure out if it's really just that she herself is looking like hell and not even photoshop can fix it, or if she just really looks nothing like Marilyn Monroe and trying to morph her into her takes away everything that makes Lindsay pretty.

I think that's it, because that hair is, for me, the worst part.
