The studio is dumping this movie like trash on the side of the road. No promotions, little ad coverage, etc. Low quality may have something to do with it, but Lohan's current reputation (such as it is) may be a more telling reason. I wouldn't expect this film to get her career back on track.

That will have to wait until she picks up her Oscar for Georgia Rule. *rolls eyes*

I never expected to be saying this...but good for her. She did something positive and accepted some responsibility. This also means she controlled the situation and didn't have the paps taking pics of cops coming to arrest her for it.

But it does make me wonder if she'll go to jail. At the least, her license is gone.

I think Lindsay has more talent in one freckle than Paris has in her entire body, which is part of the reason why I get more annoyed with her for her spoiled party girl behavior than with Paris for hers. Lindsay's got something to offer. I hope she actually does learn something from jail and gets her shit together.

I actually think she turned herself in to avoid jail. It's her first offense (well, the first one where she got caught), she immediately went to rehab and now has turned herself in. Unless she gets the same judge that Paris Hilton had, I'm thinking that all of this will work in her favor and she'll get a slap on the wrist.

Hell, as long as she avoids the mistake of pissing the judge off, she'll probably have no jail time, even with the same judge as Paris Hilton.

(First rule of court proceedings: Never, ever piss off the judge.)
