| It may just be an outing, since today's her birthday and all. Have some Perrier on me, Linds! |
Not a very well supervised outing since she went partying at the Chateau Marmont for Allegra Versace's birthday. Being around Versaces does not exactly inspire sobriety.
Is Allegra Versace the anorexic socialite? The one who looks like walking death?
Well, so much for hanging with the right crowd.

You know how a toddler, left unsupervised, will be unerringly drawn to the most dangerous object in any given room?
Good observation.
You know, I would buy this whole sobriety thing if she just followed through with the right actions. Talk is cheap.
Well,
she's moving, so there's that.

LiLo is reportedly moving out of her Sierra Towers apartment in the interest of changing her surroundings and staying off the bottle. And it’s the kind of decision that some say is essential if she wants to continue living a party-free existence.
"The Sierra Towers is party central. Lindsay has made the decision not to be around that when she gets out,” the source added. |

| While she pursues treatment at Promises, her belongings have already been moved from the apartment to a new locale, more likely to help the actress/singer succeed in her new life ambition: sobriety. |
The Chateau Marmont is next, yes? *hopeful*
I know some nice Amish folks she could bunk with. We could plant cameras and sell the rights when it goes bad.
As long as she's still hanging with Moms like she's her girl, I have less than zero hope for this girls sanity, sobriety, or her career.
Nice porn star shoes, Lindsay.
That quote only gets better:

"I would guess her problems began before she was three, so evil Hollywood types haven't created these difficulties for Lindsay, but they capitalized on them," he says. "So, if it were up to me, I'd recommend a new Rolodex and several years of high quality individual psycho-therapy. The first steps will be the most difficult; Lindsay will have to avoid people and circumstances who have been associated with drinking or taking drugs.
And that might include her mother." |
That's a great article - thanks for sharing.
Credibility is strained with the use of the qualifier might.
And the fact that the doctor doesn't know her or her family. I mean, he's probably right, but I hate that "Well, I don't know anyone involved, but I'm going to diagnose them all anyway! For the tabloids!" crap.
Like we haven't done the same with every celebrity whose life is even a little out of whack. I guess the difference would be, I have no credentials to say, "That Dina Lohan sure is a piece of work. And the father, with the jail and everything, he's bad news, too. She probably should cut out all of those users and get a new therapist."
I think there's a difference in an unqualified person gossiping and a doctor diagnosing someone's mental problems. Like I said, I don't disagree with him, it's just something that rubs me the wrong way.
