Wow, dead eyes. What's the term? Manson Lamps? Yeah.
I refuse to consider Dina Lohan a celebrity, but if I did? Oh how quickly I would post
this in the Schaden thread.
I can't view that because it's a protected entry.
The NY Post story. Basically, Dina is a lying liar (gee whiz) and was never a Rockette or a Broadway star as she has claimed.
Dina's been busted as not ever being a Rockette or even a small time actress. Bitch lied!
ETA: Beaten to it.
Thanks!
From that article:

| "It's like claiming to have a degree from Harvard when you don't. It's a big deal to be a Rockette," said our source. |
Um, no it's not, actually. Ten bucks says the "family member" is Lindsay.
...or her ex-husband. My money is on him.
Actually, I can see what they're saying by making a parallel between being a Rockette and getting a degree from Harvard. Getting the Harvard degree is much harder of course, but there are only so many people who can claim being a Rockette. Dina lying about it is beyond stupid, since checking on that sort of thing isn't difficult...just like checking on whether or not someone has a degree from a very famous, prestigious university.
I dont know, while the Harvard analogy is...ugh, as a young ballet dancer I did go through a period of really wanting to be a rockette...dont judge me.
Plus, I am sure that dancers put in years of training and hard work to make the Rockettes and being able to say "I am a Rockette" probably has a certain amount of prestige to it.
That just makes me feel even more sorry for Lindsay. How old is her mother, 12? That's usually the last age at which you think you have to lie like that and believe you can get away with it.
Dina is bound and determined to
ruin exploit turn her two youngest children into stars. In front of the cameras, naturally. The picture at the top is so telling.
With all the problems that family is going through right now, that is the last thing they need. What a selfish bitch.
It is like a reflection of parents in society right now. A lot of parents are calling up admissions staff at universities and cussing them out because their child didn't get in or didn't get scholarship money (actually happened to me). Some parents are even calling employers and doing the same thing. We've had to place a physical barrier between incoming freshmen and their parents during orientation because of all the problems that were coming from parents controlling the registration process.
Dina Lohan is like every helicopter parent out there X 1000.
Did anyone buy this week's People magazine? I almost bought it at the grocery store, but the picture on the cover freaked me out too much (not the one of her as a child, the one from outside the club where she looks dead). If anyone's read it, I'm just curious what the article said.
