I thought you were supposed to start with a plant after rehab. Did a Sandra Bullock movie lie to me?

Well, I thought Linds was in Mean Girls Obviously I was wrong, since they missed the "Cool Mom" satire altogether... Doesn't Dina get that having permission to drink/drug from a parent on the premises makes everything WORSE, not better??? The young don't fear anything BUT their parents, which is why having a her as a parent has totally screwd up Linds. If Linds Mom isn't worried about drug overdose, alcoholism, (car crashes are ONLY caused by the paps, according to Dina) or bulimia, why should her daughter see any red flags? And the fact that she told Clooney she wasn't Linds Mom but her assistant because it wold make her look OLD is just seventy kinds of sick.

I found this headline on the Yahoo home page pretty amusing:

Heh. That's exactly what I thought.

I loved the Weekend Update joke about the puppy thing. "This just in. The puppies are dead."

I can't really bring myself to care if she cleans up her act or not, simply because she seems like such an obnoxious person. Whenever I see her on a talk show, all she ever talks about is how much the tabloids are ruining her life. I don't see why she doesn't just tape one interview and use ti for every movie, since whatever film she's promoting never manages to get talked about anyway. She just seems entirely self-centered and humorless, with no appreciation whatsoever for how lucky she is to be able to make a living (more like a thousand livings, really) doing what she loves.

Then again, I can't remember the last time she ever seemed excited about any of her projects. So maybe her love of acting has been completely eclipsed by coke. I don't know.

I think she loves the fame, but not the acting. We've seen her stumble in late to the set too many times to think she takes it seriously.

I was seriously underwhelmed by her in Prairie Home Companion. Sure, it was an ensemble piece, but even the bits with just her (or her and one other actor) were...meh.

Augh, she is so full of herself. I was at the movies yesterday, and during part of the 'pre-show entertainment', where they show useless celebrity tidbits, Lindsay was quoted as saying she is the hardest-working person she knows.

Clearly, she doesn't know many people. This almost makes me sad for her. But then I remember myself, and the anger rightfully resurfaces. What a toolbox she is.

Agent Sculder- 04-01-2007
I saw that too, and I think I snorted very loudly. If she thinks she's a harder worker than say, Meryl Streep, someone needs to smack her. Hard.

Lindsay is interested in playing Princess Diana.

NO. NO. NO.

FabulousPant- 04-05-2007
I'm glad she is getting interested in charity work, but it sounds like she's doing it for the wrong reasons. Be there for the kids, not because you want to be just like Princess Diana.

Oh Linds, what the hell? Britney's sloppy seconds? No! Bad starlet!

callie- 04-14-2007
I'm trying hard to imagine a universe where this is true and can't. To both of the links above. Hooking up with K-Fed is not how you garner good publicity after a rehab stint.

Scarlettfish- 04-14-2007
Seriously, Lindsay. WTF?

She has the worst taste in men EVER.

Maybe this K-Fed's purpose in life! He goes around to fallen starlets and gets them into rehab at their lowest points! It could happen! Right?

Pals 'unsafe' Without Lohan
IN a bizarre interview with Allure, Lindsay Lohan says she takes on the role of protector to her friends and family. "When my friends and family are around me I feel like they're safe . . . When my friends have left me - I've just seen everything collapse. They're not safe without me," the starlet eerily told the magazine. Lohan also discussed her quick stint in rehab, explaining that she doesn't plan to stop going out to clubs and partying and declaring, "That's my life!" She also compared herself to Marilyn Monroe and claimed to be shocked she ended up needing treatment: "It's so weird that I went to rehab. I always said I would die before I went to rehab." After clearly stating her plans to continue club-hopping and to keep her friends close for their protection, the conflicted party girl adds, "Everybody's tired of hearing things about me and them . . . I think it's just better for me to lie low and get better." Make up your mind.
