Agreed. Usually, when someone checks into rehab I at least feign interest because it's a positive step. I sincerely could not care less what happens to her.

I don't really care either at this point. Hasn't she also ducked out of a few rehabs in the past few months as well? All the publicity this one is getting seems to be more of a PR stunt than anything real. Of course I could be wrong, but I won't be shocked if in two days she's walking out and getting even more plastered with some more people.
I bet two days to a week she's back out partying.
But if she's serious, then godspeed for her. But I don't think she's serious.

It's sad to think of someone that young being in rehab. I hope she recovers, though she probably won't; it usually takes more than one time to get clean.
Wonder if Drew managed to get through to her somehow and get her into this place? Not that I'm predicting total success, just wondering if it's more than coincidence she hung out with her, and then this right afterward.

I'd take it more seriously if it weren't for the fact that she was going to AA, but still drank.
The alcohol helped her recover from the apendectomy.
Well, I'm happy for her. Probably this isn't the first time in rehab for her, but it is the first time she's admitted it publicly. Which I respect, honestly. Sure, I'm cynical about it and I wonder how long it'll last, but I really do hope this is the positive step it seems to be.
Yeah, me too. And honestly, while I do think this is most likely the first trip of many, the fact that she did it unrelated to any current PR disaster does make me hope she's serious about this, and not just doing it to save face.

It is interesting that none of the reports online have said anything about cocaine use. They mention her drinking, her problems on set, and her party lifestyle, but not one has said anything about drugs. I thought it was the least kept secret in Hollywood that she was a cokehead.
Apparently the facility she's chosen conveniently offers their treatment on an
outpatient basis.
