Has he even been anywhere near Lindsay recently? I mean, I don't think Sam's a great influence either, but 80% of the recent pictures of them are on the set (not to mention the four-episode Ugly Betty spot), which makes the "She's not even working" comment sound ridiculous.

Mostly I think he's pissed that she's in a relationship with a woman. All his "I'm praying for her" shit was way out of line, and he's not exactly known for looking out for her best interests.

I don't think she's 100% clean either, but this is so shady of him. Again. As usual.

He's a scumbag and his comments aren't helpful, but that doesn't change the fact that I can't buy that Samantha Ronson is keeping Linds on the straight and narrow. I think they're otherwise a cute couple but this image does not pass easily out of my head.

Maybe she's fine, and she's got tons of actually *good* roles lined up, but I doubt it. Which sucks because I love LiLo and want her to do well, hopefully her UB stint will help.

He's just looking for a pat on the back like Britney's dad got. Never mind that Jamie Spears actually took action and did something to help his kid rather than just talk about her in the media.

For me Samantha Ronson is so a user and pusher for LiLo. I couldn't care less if she was gay/straight what have you but IMHO Samantha Ronson is someone who is very much an enabler. Her dad is still a shit head.

It's such a shame that it seems everyone surrounding Lindsay is out for themselves, not her. Like sparklymouse said, what she needs is for one of her parents to pull a Jamie Spears - put the bad past behind them and finally knuckle down as a parent. It's never too late. Sadly, I don't see it happening.

That's more coherent than I've ever read coming from Lindsay. The grammar and capitalization is messed up (lower-case i as a personal pronoun- an alarming netspeak trend, or a sign of poor self esteem?), but as far as I can see, she only misspelled one word. I don't know. She sounds healthy and reasonable. I worry about her relationship with Samantha Ronson, but I haven't seen any photos that make me sigh, "Oh, Lindsay, I'm so disappointed" in a few months. At least none that didn't involve questionable style choices.
