Wow, that's harsh.
I wonder if they'd say the same with regard to a tiger cub or a baby elephant or a baby gorilla?
Argh! How anyone could look at that much cute and would prefer it be dead than saved is a mystery to me.
Link to the video. Giant Squid to be microwaved!Calamari for everyone! (Well, ammonia tasting calamari)
Spiders who snuggleCreepy but cute. Like a Tim Burton movie.
A census of cheetahs!With pictures!
Cheetahs are so beautiful.
I watched the mama spider giving love rubs to her babies. Not for people who don't like spiders (I like them a lot).
Cheetahs always look so graceful. I love all big cats.
I forced myself to look at the video of the spider stroking her young, although spiders REALLY aren't my thing, and in fairness I suppose it was kind of cute-ish. But I couldn't watch it for long.
OMG, those are not just spiders, but WHIP spiders, the creepiest and most squirm-inducing kind of spiders. Ieeeeeeee, why did I click that link?

Oh thank goodness.
Here's the story from the Minneapolis paper - it's a bit more in-depth. I didn't realize the dog had been a
therapy dog. Lord.

Awesome. I love how the servers crashed hours after the site was opened.

Seriously, what's this guy's interior monologue?
"I love this girl, but how do I let her know? Flowers? No, that's totally overdone. Jewelery? And spend that kind of money for possible rejection? I think not. I know, I kidnap her dog, cut off its head and leave it in abox for her. Like Madame DeFarge would say, 'Nothing says loving like a head in a box.'"
