I agree, Cameron as a character has improved a lot. I wish the writers would make up their mind as to whether or not they want her to have a back bone, though.

Poor Chase is so going to have his heart broken. Although, I do think that Cameron's getting a bit attached. She was mighty jealous when she was thinking that someone else was making him "glow."

I'm so excited for tonight's episode. I can't wait!

Baby's got the bends, oh no.....C'mon, I can't be the only one with Radiohead in their heads after this episode, can I?

Did anybody else think for a second House was going to go, “Condoms… <epiphany look> I think I solved Wilson’s case!”

I love how Chase is the real mini-House out of the ducklings.

BrightEyes- 04-10-2007
I have to say, I laughed out loud at the FauxCameron.
"That's permanent marker!"
House's reaction was, of course, awesome.

This show is obsessed with sex.

I loved House and Cuddy in this episode.

I loved House and Cuddy in this episode.

I love watching those two together. House sniffing Cuddy was hysterical. Also, "Are you handicap-accessible?" is the best pick-up line I've heard in a long time.

I'm very proud of myself, because I knew that the cat's food being uneaten would later be signficant. I didn't know why, of course, but for me that was big. Poor kitty.

So, the conversion thing--could that really happen? I mean, I know conversion is a real thing, but would the rash really manifest itself like that, in the same pattern and everything?

I was kinda disappointed that House didn't get to cut the guy open, although the LP at 50,000 feet was awesome.

I thought that too, also with the cat being in the same position as when the woman first saw him. I think I thought it because I have cats and I know not eating food is bad.

I think conversion disorder was the wrong thing...From what I recall of my (basic) pysch classes, conversion disorder is when there is a physical response to a non-physical trauma...the example always given was "a soldier with shell-shock may become blind, evne though there is nothing physically wrong with his eyes."
I think everyone on the plane just panicked...which could very likely happen...I know I would freak if someone got violently ill and I was stuck on a plane for another 15 hours.
I believe Cuddy wasn't manifesting conversion disorder, rather a psycho-somatic disorder...which House described, the mind making the body ill. There is a difference between the two, though it is rather vague and I probalby haven't described it well.

Also, this episode was awesome. "Tell the pilot I want him to fly low enough to club baby seals out the window"

Also, PlaneChase! was so much more entertaining than RealChase...in fact, PlaneTeam was more amusing than RealTeam usually is.

Barf on a plane!

I quite enjoyed MiniChase and his buddies. And they namechecked ciguatera poisoning, which is apparently incredibly awful, because a friend of mine had it once in the Cook Islands. Woo!

Not clear on whether the bends causes a rash, but hey.

wildcatlizzie- 04-11-2007
When he got on the PA the first time and said, "if you've eaten such and such, you've just ingested whatever", and then half of the plane got up because they were suddenly going to be violently ill. Um, hi. It's all in your heads, people.

Cat food not being eaten = something's not right. Especially when the cat hadn't moved at all from when the PotW was admitted to when Chase and Cameron were searching her place? Yeah, something was up with the home.

The Chase/Cameron was beginning to irk me. Let's act like professionals please. >>But then she broke his heart, and now she must die.<<

Is that really a spoiler? Just in case.

BrightEyes- 04-11-2007
I really like her, I have to say, and I don't feel that bad for Chase. He knew what he was getting into, he knew that she probably isn't yet over House, and he still started having sex with her. It's not her fault that feelings didn't develop on both sides.

Plus, Chase really bugs me. He is so whiny.

Kiran- 04-11-2007
Plus judging by her reaction, I think she does have some feelings for him.

I thought he told them to barf up their dinners as soon as possible so the toxin could be eliminated from their bodies, so everyone was getting up to go to the lavs.

Did he? Huh. I'll have to go back and watch again.

I dunno, I'm still kind of squicked by the whole Cam/Chase affair in general. It's just weird that that plotline surfaced right around the same time Jesse & Jennifer announced their engagement. Sheesh.

And good lord, trapped on an 18-hour flight with barfing people? I think Nikki and Paulo >>getting buried alive<< on Lost just got kicked out of first place for my top TV-represented worst nightmare.

I am having the best time with this show. I'm watching the first two series with my sister - every evening this week, we've called out for Thai, and then mainlined House for about four hours. It's weird - it suddenly seems to have become incredibly popular in the UK, and almost all of my friends at uni have obtained all the episodes by means legal or otherwise and watched them since the beginning of the year. Hugh Laurie really is brilliant - I guess you never really know what you've got til it's gone...

ETA The TWoP slashers are scary - I love the hoyay as much as the next girl (and boy does this show bring it in spades), but desperately analysing every episode for clues that the writers are about to reveal the truth about House and Wilson in the finale? At what point does optimism become delusion?
