I've been getting this error message, anyone else?: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)

I can't be the only person getting lots of error messages over the last couple of days. Is there anything we can do or is it a general Forumer problem?

It's entirely a forumer problem. We really can't do anything about it on our own. I'll check by the Forumer forum and see if anybody else has reported it, and if they haven't then I will.

I keep getting this: Could not load ./lang/en/mod_sec_lang_msg.php

Double posts keep appearing when I try to post, and when I try to edit, it isn't working. Also, a lot of the threads aren't loading fully. Is this an isolated problem with me, or is Forumer having issues?

I'm not getting an error message but I'm definitely having problems with some threads not loading fully - the Paris Hilton & Celebrity Fashion threads are the ones giving me trouble so far but I'm sure there are others too. When I click on the "last post by ..." link on the main page they take forever to load and then don't list all of the comments that are posted (e.g. the Paris Hilton one is stopping at a post made on the 24th of June).

ETA: Just noticed (while waiting for this post to appear) that there's a message from Forumer at the end of the page:

I get told either too many connections or DNS error.

Stupid Forumer. Be. more. er. can't think of a word. Whatever.

Yeah, I'm getting the same damned problem, and when a page finally loads, the last posts are from like, May. Grr.

If you hit Reply, the recent posts magically reappear. Which is reassuring but annoying, Has the Potterdammerung started early?

Though all my recent posts are showing as duplicated. Is everyone else getting the same thing for their own posts?

That's happening to me, too. I tried editing what I thought was a double post until I realized that *all* my posts are showing up as double posts.

For me, the Psychotic Fans thread is only showing up through June 12th.

It's happening to me too. I posted on the forumer support board this morning. Hopefully they'll look at the issue soon.
