So, they want the baby to grow up to be a stripper?
|
You have seen photos of those two, right?

Alabama is pretty bad, but I've actually met people named Montana and Australia. Also, an old friend of mine had a cousin named Dakota Blu (no E for some reason). And as a side note, Dakota's sister was named Summer Rain.

To combat the crazy of Alabama Gypsy Rose, I give you the perfectly acceptable name of Joey McIntyre's new son :
Griffin Thomas. Two actual names and no more than two names. Thank you, Joey and Mrs. McIntyre.

I used to joke that I'd name my children after cities, like Ulaanbaator or The Hague. It's not so funny now.
As far as American states go, I'd love to see a child named New Hampshire.

GAH! My long post was eaten, but to summarize: I live in Alabama, and NO MORE NAMING YOUR CHILDREN AFTER MY STATE, CRAZY PEOPLE.
The end.

I like Griffin. It's different--as in, there won't be like four other Griffins in Wee McIntyre's class--but not too crazy. I dig it. Well done, Joey and Mrs. Joey.

Naming children after cities or states is just sooooo over. I'm petitioning my sister to name her son Umlaut Ampersand. Now that rocks.

Punctuation is the new Jaden and Jenna. Just don't take Interrobang Circumflex, because that's all mine.

If I named my kid Colon Asterisk do you think she'd get made fun of much on the playground? And how come no one ever wants to name their kid after MY state? Massachusetts has such a lovely lilt to it.
Maybe I'll name the sprog Massachusetts Asterisk and they can call her Masshole for short?
EvilBearHunter- 11-30-2007
God, y'all are still writing out punctuation? My future children will be named % and !$. That last '.' isn't part of the name, by the way. That would be silly.

If she's from Massachusetts they'll call her "Masshole" no matter what you name her.

When I was 20, my roommates and I went to Eugene, Or one day. We went to this street fair and there was someone giving away kittens -so we decided to get one.
My roommates decided to name the cat, ~.
I kid you not.

Oh I love that name! Very Spanish.
Poubelle- 12-01-2007
My next cat is gonna be named @. Because @ already looks like a sleeping cat. And should I ever have twins, they will be ´ and `. I'll be going with the French pronunciation.
And because the old joke is still funny: if my child is tragically born with only one eye, I shall name them after the great state of Mississippi.
Topic: Griffin is a lovely name. That's how you do unique (not by spelling it Yoniq and forcing it on a poor defenseless infant).
Genevieve- 12-01-2007
Griffin is so refreshing.
