Celebrity Baby Names

I take stable to mean their vital signs are now within normal limits for their age group and they might still be in "critical" condition but things are kind of okay for now.

I also don't understand why we give babies Heparin anyway. Especially when you consider they give them Vitamin K to help them with blood clotting after they're first born. We don't use it to flush IV lines either. PICC lines and central lines yes, IVs? No.

I'm not a nurse, but I've been on heperin before, and I can't imagine even if it was standard practice to use it to flush IV lines that they'd use it on babies IVs. Somebody in that hospital screwed up badly.

Oh God that is HORRIBLE. And those poor babies and that poor family. I cant even imagine what their going through. And having to do it in the public eye? And those other families too.

I hope the people responsible get fired.

And I too agree about the Vitamin K shot being enough.

At the very least. That is so horrible, and so very, very preventable. Those poor babies, and I can't imagine what the parents must be going through.

Given that 13 patients received the wrong dosage, it sounds like a massive system error at the hospital as well as human error in not recognizing that the doses were too large. I hope this turns our ok for everyone, but particularly those babies.

What a terrible thing to happen, and those poor families.

Is heparin something that usually gets diluted prior to dosing? Could explain how that happened, if someone got ahold of the "concentrate" by mistake.

According to press reports there gonna be okay, but according to TMZ they wont no for sure if theres any longterm effects for a few monthes.
