I have never heard of either of them before this so when I read ka-*test*-('")i's post, it immediately brought to mind a teletubby and a Cadbury's chocolate bar.
Mmm, Caramello chocolate...
Carmelo is an Italian name (and my dad's name), so that's not weird. I don't like Kiyan at all, however.

Agreed on Kiyan, Scarlettfish. Not only does it sound like "cayenne," the spelling is all... loopy. It's kind of a silly name, IMO.
Nomar Garciaparra and Mia Hamm named their twin girls Grace and Ava.
I loooove those names. I'm sure it was no small feat to find nice girl names to fit with a last name like Garciaparra, so I think they picked great names. Grace has always been one of my favorites, and Ava is a pretty name too, even if it is a little trendy.
Pretty, but a liiiiiittle boring.
Wait how did I completely miss Nomaaaaaaaar and Mia Hamm being a couple??
I love the names Grace and Ava. I don't think they're boring at all. They're nice, simple and classy.
Awww, Grace and Ava. Though I am a bit biased towards the name Ava because that's my two-year old niece's name. Squee!
Mel B. has named her daughter Fortuna Daphne Bay.
...well alright then.
Well, considering her older daughter is named Phoenix Chi, that doesn't surprise me.
There's a Fortuna Bay somewhere in the world, isn't there?
Now that's taking that "Where you were conceived" thing TOO FAR!
I live right next to a town called Fortuna. It is full of rednecks and crackheads.
Way to go, Mel.
Ever since I read about little Fortuna, I've been walking around with
this stuck in my head. She's gonna
love movie previews.
Actress Julie Bowen has given birth to a boy, named
Oliver Mclanahan Phillips. I think that's pretty close to a normal name, so kudos to her and her husband.
McLanahan sounds like a family name instead of some desperate attempt to be unusual. Not a bad name at all.
