For real? He doesn't have his own thread?

I just found out about what Brad Pitt said to Ashton Kutcher re: intent to punk George Clooney.

QUOTE
"I remember two years ago you were after Clooney. I would tell you as your friend: don't do it. Don't ever go near it. He'll kill you and everything you love. I know it's tempting, but don't do it."

I never had a crush on him when I was supposed to (mid-nineties), but now, I think he's one of my favorite male celebs. He seems very down-to-earth and funny.

I like the rest of this article on the pranks he and George pulled on each other. I hadn't heard about them before. I'll just repost the article here, since the website is making my eyes bleed.

Brad Pitt has warned pal Ashton Kutcher off playing a practical joke on Hollywood's most notorious prankster, George Clooney - because the movie hunk will make his life a misery.

Pitt interviewed Kutcher for America's Interview magazine, and took the opportunity to advise his young pal not to go after his Ocean's Eleven partner for MTV prank show Punk'd..

Pitt says, "I remember two years ago you were after Clooney. I would tell you as your friend: 'Don't do it. Don't ever go near it. He'll kill you and everything you love.' I know it's tempting, but don't do it."

Pitt was on the receiving end of one of Clooney's top pranks as payback for convincing crew members on the set of Ocean's Twelve that Clooney insists on staying in character and wanted to be called Danny Ocean throughout the shoot.

In revenge, Clooney made Pitt drive through rush hour Hollywood traffic with a sign suggesting he was lacking in manhood.

Their co-star Matt Damon explains, "Brad was about to drive off and George came up to say goodbye. Brad was sitting in his car and George kind of tapped the car with his hand and said, 'All right, take care.'

"When he pulled his hand away, he'd left a bumper sticker that read 'Small Penis Onboard'. So Brad drove through rush-hour traffic in LA with it, and all these people were looking at him and waving."

Heeee. I totally want to hang out and smoke weed and play basketball with those two.

They're like the perfect kind of man's men without being dicks. I love it.

This prank pulled by Brad was also good and of course, George got back at him by bringing hilariously bad pictures of Brad from the 80's to the Letterman show.

laurelin_kit- 01-11-2007
Ahahaha! That's beautiful.

Ugliest mullet ever. And Brad Pitt's eighties/nineties photos are pretty horrendous.

I don't know how he got Variety to print that ad since George tried once to put a FYC ad for Matt Damon as the Sexiest Man Alive but got denied because they said they were a "professional publication".

Back then I was just looking at his ass in a pair of Levi's in an ad he did, so the mullet doesn't really offend me. Sadly I can't find any footage of it right now.

I can handle Brad in films (provided they aren't called Meet Joe Black) but other than that he just seems like a bit of a pod person.
He just seems to assimilate into whoever he's with and seems really bland. But hey Fight Club is great so he gets a pass - there are far worse celebrities out there!

I think he deserves an Oscar nom for Babel. Thats kind of unpopular here though. :)

I like him. Hes imo a character actor in a movie stars body, but I'm cool with that, and he has an awesome ass.

ITA on that one. Though to some extent everyone does that but with a celebrity it kind of gets amped up more..that and I think BP has always done that. Not smart enough to link but if you look at all his ladies over the last 15 years, eventually he starts to look like them. Who could forget Brad and Gwyn having the same hairstyle at one of his movie premiers. And when he was with Julliette "wild child" lewis he was scruffy and all beat-up looking, gwyn he was blond and golden, then jen he was more brown haired and golden. And now with angie he looks like they got the same highlights done in their hair.

Lady V- 01-12-2007
I actually disagree. The same do that he sported with Gwyneth was a hairstyle he got for that awful Tibet movie and it was actually Gwyneth who decided to copy it several months later. With Jen, he sported various hairstyles and still looks the same now as he did when he was with her. When it's not for films, I think he's more or less looked the same the last ten years.

I've never gotten the "he turns into his girlfriends" thing. I think he's always seemed incredibly laid-back and easy going. And if Paltrow couldn't turn him into a smug, Type-A asshole, then I think his personality is more ingrained than he gets credit for.

I love him. I think he's a very good actor, both as a leading man (Mr. and Mrs. Smith, O11, Legends of the Fall) and as a quirkier, supporting actor. I think he's much smarter than many believe, and that it's no fluke that he's been a solid A-list actor for like 15 years now. As much as he projects a total stoner persona, I'm always pleasantly surprised when he does commentaries or interviews by how quick-witted and thoughtful he actually is.

And even if I didn't think all of that, he would have a lifetime pass from me just for A River Runs Through It, which is one of the few films that will make me cry *every single time* I watch it.

He got my 'lifetime pass' when he did that documentary about the family that raised Bart the Bear and their two cubs. He narrated the film and actually visited and put his gazillion dollar face within mauling rage of the two (friggin' adorable) cubs.
