Considering that none of us were there, I'd say that nobody knows what really went down.

Ok bad choice of words. But since this is a primarily celebrity gossip oriented board I figured at least one of you may know something.

Also, what happened with Brad and Gwyneth? Who did she cheat with??

To be fair, Jennifer Aniston was already A-status when they hooked up. Friends was huge, she'd been on the cover of Rolling Stone, movies were trying to capitilize on her. Hell, her break up with Tate Freaking Donovan made the cover of People magazine. And truthfully I could see why they fell in love (and also probably why they didnt last) they both seemed to genuinelly adore each other at one point, and at the very least loved the weed.

And yeah, Brad was a wild child up until the mid nineties (when I actually think hitting thirty had a lot to do with him cleaning up his act), and used to go to like important events rocking a large white fur coat.

There were rumors of who Gwyneth cheated with. Mainly her two costars around that time Viggo Mortenson and Ethan Hawke, but I dont know if it was at all true.

I think I also heard Michael Douglas batted around.

Jen and Brad had that whole "Our managers wanted us to meet" beginning, and I think it always colored my view of them. It seemed like a convenient merger, and he still seemed hung up on Gwyneth (in an angry, resentful way) to me.

Yeah, it didnt bother me that much. They were up front about it, and I suspect a lot of couples in Hollywood met in some similar way.

The Michael Douglas thing totally creeped me out. 1)He was friends with her parents while she was growing up and 2) He wrote her college admissions reccomendation.

Gwyneth was wild back in the day. Didnt it come out that she had sex with a teamster on one of her dads sets back in the day?

I always thought it was Viggo for reasons I can't remember now. I know they didn't shoot a Perfect Muder until after brad split with her but I remember reading something where they met earlier that year to start doing the painting stuff.
One of it was viggo did do paintings (art) stuff on the side and they were interviewing him and there was that big picture of gwyneth from the movie he did with her and he said she let him keep it for his studio. Now that could be nothing but it seems there was something else.

That and I could see gwyneth fooling around on brad with someone like viggo..he seems the scruffier version of brad in some ways, plus viggo seems like a guy that wouldn't have a problem with it and get this? Keep his mouth shut.

Yeah, on total rumors and heresay, the vibe I got with brad was that it took a lot to get over gwyneth and I think jennifer helped him in a lot of ways. Plus didn't he say something in an interview about the "paltrow period"..just seemed snippy. But then I read when gwyn won her Oscar he sent her a big thing of flowers congratulating her. I don't know.

She however was SOOO hung up on him. I remember when he and Jen were getting married, the day before she showed up on Access Hollywood or something talking about how hurt she was.

That and her comments when she was in Chicago this summer and the little blub about all the paps being in town because of bragelina..I can't find it but the quote itself seemed very passive-agressive..considering 10 years ago she was engaged to the one-half of that couple and the media swirled around them..she didn't seem to mind then.

And I didn't mean to say brad was still in love with her because he sent her flowers on her Oscar win, but that he had come along way in putting the past to rest with her...something she can't seem to wrap her head around.

klk1714 I remember hearing those comments and thinking she sounded bitter and jealous. I'm sure if she and Brad were still together she wouldn't be so hostile about the paps. Brad sure is handling them well these days.

Why do we even need Gwyneth's opinion on Angie? G & B dated a million years ago. I don't see how that is even relevant.
