And that's one reason why I can't call him smug and insufferable right now. Seeing him in the monkey suit just cracks me up.
It also helps that I think he's a great character actor, but with leading man looks (which can hamper him sometimes). He's also the one who got my interest in men kickstarted at the tender age of 15 with Thelma and Louise.

Those are awesome. I LOVE the reactions in the "abduction." "Brad Pitt was waiting in line and he just got kidnapped and thrown into a van...I'm really not kidding." Ha!
And, I agree, swsa. He's managed to avoid enormous displays of douchitude and foot-in-mouthism during his years on top (how many of our A-listers can say that, really?) so I think he's probably a bit more on top of things than it may appear.
Plus, he has a fun sense of humor, and he's hot. As long as he doesn't torture kittens, he's cool in my book. I'm so easy.

Add me to the list of people who think he's a character actor trapped in a star's body. I think people would give him an easier time if he wasn't so hot. He was excellent in 12 Monkeys, Kalifornia, Snatch, T&L, and of course Fight Club rocked.

I really like him, but I thought he looked weird last night. Like his own wax figure.
And even if I didn't think all of that, he would have a lifetime pass from me just for A River Runs Through It, which is one of the few films that will make me cry *every single time* I watch it.

So, I will take this opportunity to make fun of Crazy Tom Cruise - who only trots his daughter out for massive paparazzi (the TomKat wedding). Shiloh is actually being loved and raised by her parents, which is why we've actually seen her more than Suri, who's not let out of her box unless it's a photo op.
